Using:
Place both w3l.exe and w3lh.dll into your Warcraft III directory.
Run 'w3l.exe' when you want to connect to a PvPGN server.
Run 'war3.exe' when you want to connect to battle.net.
You can set delay value in file latency.txt. The proper delay value lies between 30 and 255. If wrong value is set or file is missed, delay value will be set to 100 ms. Default Blizzard's value is 250.

Notes:
To play RoC when you have TFT expansion installed, run 'w3l.exe -classic'
To play in windowed mode, run 'w3l.exe -window'
If you connect to battle.net while running w3l.exe, you risk getting your cd-key banned.

:powh: january kemaren baru ngepatch ke 1.22. Kalo kata gw kayaknya waktu dekat ini enggak dlu:powh:

Seharusnya IDGS lebih cepet dalam hal upgrade ke 1.23. Ini gua cerita berdasarkan pengalaman gua dulu.

Kalau sudah lama baru diupgrade:
1. Sudah ketinggalan daripada server2 luar(secara otomatis bisa kehilangan pemain biarpun dalam jumlah kecil)
2. Karena upgrade yang terlalu lama, cheat seperti Maphack dan name spoofer dan lain2 sebagainya sudah disempurnakan untuk 1.23. Padahal kalo misalnya IDGS cepet upgrade ke 1.23 setidaknya ada bbrp lama pemain bisa merasa adil dalam bermain karena tidak adanya Maphack dsb.

Gua dulu pernah bermain di server BoredAussie(australia punya). Disana mereka selalu dengan cepat mengupgrade kalo ada versi baru. Biarpun upgrade sebelumnya itu baru dilakukan di bulan itu juga.

Wah kayaknya sih perlu dipertimbangkan matang2 dan ga perlu terburu2,
Pergantian atau masa transisi membawa dampak yg cukup besar (walau cuma sebentar) lho bagi IDGS menurut pendapat pribadi.
Ambil contoh (pengalaman pribadi): di beberapa net di tempat saya , begitu ada perubahan atau update kebanyakan warnet/gamenet ga langsung update . Dalam hal ini jelas saya sebagai user kehilangan kontak ke IDGS (bermain) dan IDGS jg kehilangan kontak ke saya (pemain). Gimana klo hal ini terjadi kira2 100 atau lebih pemain yg lain mengalami hal yg sama?? hanya sharing

- Kita bukannya gak mau ngupdate server, ngupdate server ke versi terbaru itu gampang bro.. kayak balikin telapak tangan, yang dipikirkan itu... nih client ribuan warnet.. ribuan tekhnisi.. nasibnya gimana ngupdate ratusan kompi 1 net.. lom lagi klo ada masalah.. lom lagi user noob yang stress sana sini lom update.. trus teriak2 gak bisa main... dari survey saya, 3 bulan kita umumin sebelum update masih tetep aja yang noob nya stress teriak teriak pas hari H.. kasiankan.. hehehe.. jadi sabar yak.. kita slow but sure deh..

Information About this Virus:-

A New Information has been in my knowledge that, A exploit made into fake Dota-Allstars maps and some new Warcraft 3 maps. The damage cause of these maps are huge for your personal computer by downloading Harmful viruses and trojans into your system. We have some reports about the infected computers and users and they lost their precious data by downloading these maps. This is also reported to Blizzard that Warcraft 1.23 Patch is vulnerable to Viruses... and I think that Blizzard might release Warcraft 1.23b Patch to solve this problem..

How these maps looks like:-

These map uses the same file/directory name as the originally map and displays an identical map preview. The small size of the map and nowadays fast connections the trojan and viruses downloading process ends when you enter in the game lobby, So its hard to detect these Harmful and dangerous versions.

How to detect these Viruses:-

There is only a single way to detect these virus/trojan maps is to delete all the maps from the download folder and keep Only Dota map when joining a game if there's a new file written into the foldar it will probably the fake map (containing virus and trojans).

How to avoid these viruses:-

Keep your Antivirus updated and don't close your Antivirus while you are starting War3.exe. Becuase we have seen many of the players shutdown their antiviruses before starting the game. Also do not games with maps that you don't have these maps might be infected. Keep one thing in mind that Precaution is Better then Cure.
