The Prime Defending Season 11 Final was set to take place in late November but wasn't played. Now
MYM forfeits.
Quoting MYM|Maelk:
"We as a team have come to the decision to forfeit the finals of PriDe #11, as mouz no longer exists and couldn't manage to field five players for the final. They beat us in the winnerbrackets, and although we got our revenge at Dreamhack, we also wanted to win PriDe. Unfortunately that wasn't possible. Now we would rather just look forward and get 2009 started with PriDe #12, and hopefully be successful in that tournament as well. Good luck to all the participating teams, looking forward to see some new potential and strategies from around the world."
Quoting mouz.LevenT:
"First of all I have to apologize to all the fans who have been following this PriDe until the end and also to MYM for not being able to play this final.
As you may have noticed mouz had alot of problems during this time, players leaving the team, sponsor issues and sadly our all beloved leader and father of the team went inactive. As well as the announcement with the new version (6.57) it seemed like both mym and mouz weren't so eager to play the finals on 6.52e thus having problems scheduling in time.
So basically it was a really bad timing especially for us and of course it makes me sad that it ended up like this. Nevertheless we shouldn't look back as Jacob already said and rather focus on the new upcoming PriDe.
I can promise you all out there we gonna see exciting and thrilling matches from all the teams, and especially we Kingsurf.Int are trying hard to provide you guys actionpacked and fast games."
