    Basic World Editor Tutorial, Indonesian Version

    World Editor adalah progam yang di bikin oleh Blizzard
    untuk membuat sebuah map dan bisa di mainkan di dalam B-net. untuk membukanya
    pilih folder yang tempat kamu install Warcraft.
    (Default is C:/Program Files/Warcraft III or
    Start --> All Programs --> Warcraft III --> Warcraft III World Editor).
    abis itu icon World Editor nya di click (icon na ada kertas ama gambar pena).

    biasanya ada delay 5 sampai 20 detik untuk membuka World Editor. setelah itu
    map akan otomatis muncul dan dasarnya masih berupa tanah. (untuk kedua kalinya Map akan blank
    jadi kamu harus buka map yang sebelumnya kamu save ^^



    Kadang ukuran nya ga pas jadi mari kita belajar cara memperbesar map ^^.

    Ayo Mulai dengan map kita yang baru ^^.
    Pejet Pilihan File --> Close map, or push Ctrl + W.



    Abis itu File --> New map, or push Ctrl + N.



    abis kamu buka new map, nanti ada pilihan seperti ini.



    Width and Height pilihan besar ato kecilnya map kamu >.<.

    Tileset yang ini di gunakan untuk merubah struktur tanah, nti juga
    bisa di ganti di custom mode Mis: (Loradaeron Summer, ato kamu maw ganti ke Ice Glacier ^^)

    Initial Cliff Level yang ini si untuk meninggikan map kamu dr air
    tp keliatanya ga guna de... Past aja ^^

    Initial Water Level kalo yang ini si sama aja... buat ninggiin air di dalam map
    kamu mau air yang rendah (bisa di injak) ato yang dalem... tp nanti semuanya jadi air map na >.<.

    Random Height Field yang ini si... nanti map mu jadi kaya kena gempa,
    kalo di pilih nanti tanahna bisa berlekuk lekuk, tp mending buat sendiri de di custom ^^

    Select your options, and click ok.

    Sekarang WE akan me load map kamu ^^.
    Sehabis itu, setelah map kamu udah kebuka ato udah berhasil di load
    kamu bisa mengutak atik Map kamu lewat Toolbard. kalo ga mau ato misalnya mau sembunyiin itu toolbar
    kamu tinggal klik Window ---> Toolbar ok?

    Now that you are in your map, you may be very disoriented from all of the different buttons, but I will explain them all to you.

    Selection Button


    The first button is the selection button, which allows you to select all of the things you have placed on the map. You won't be able to select anything, until you put the toolbar on the layer of the thing you are trying to select.

    Terrain Editor

    Next, you will see the Terrain Editor, which is not closeable, and is already open in front of you.

    This editor allows you to change the ground's texture, and increase/decrease size, add cliffs and ramps, and create blight.

    Here are some of the major buttons:

    The first major button is the Trigger Editor.

    Trigger Editor

    The Trigger Editor contains all of the coding of your map. There are two things used in it, the GUI, a simple selecting system to pick what you want, and JASS, a coding system that is used by the GUI, but is much more efficient than it. It is harder to learn, however.

    The next button you will see is the Sound Editor

    Sound Editor

    The Sound Editor allows you to modify the sounds units will use in the game (by replacing them with imported sounds), and will allow you to pick which sounds you will use in the Trigger Editor. It is basically just a list of sounds, and you will rarely use it. (Unless you want to listen to some of the cool unit sayings). :P

    The next button is the Object Editor.

    The Object Editor allows you to edit all of the objects in the game. You again may be a little lost when you see it, because it has many tabs.



    The first tab contains Units.

    Units are the guys you control in game. They contain everything from Buildings and Heroes to Wisps and the Locusts from Locust Swarm.

    The second tab contains Items.

    Items are the things you pick up on the ground. Almost all of them look like a treasure chest on the ground, but a few of them look like a ?, a Shrub, a Rune, and other things. These are pretty simple to figure out mostly, and they can even have Abilities on them.

    The third tab contains Destructibles.

    Destructibles are limited to very few categories, Trees/Destructibles, Pathing Blockers, and Bridges/Ramps. They are like units, but they have a few extra things that are possible. They can even be placed sideways. However, they cannot move, or be controlled.

    The fourth tab contains Doodads.

    Doodads are only different in two ways from that of destructibles, and that is that they cannot be selected in any way, and they cannot be used in the trigger editor.

    The fifth tab contains Abilities.

    Abilities are many, many times. They are always located either in items, or they are the things you click on, in the black area in the bottom right hand corner. Even attack is an ability, but it cannot be changed without modifying the world editor. They can be used to do all sorts of things, like shooting rockets, or even increasing a unit's max hp.

    The sixth tab contains Buffs and Effects.

    Buffs and Effects are not used as often as Abilities, or Units, but they can come in handy sometimes. They create the visual effects that are attatched to units during abilities. For example, Divine Shield creates a golden ring around the Paladin when it is used. This is because of a Buff. Effects are a little different. They create most of the special effects that are not attatched to units. Their effects are mostly used in area effect abilities.

    The last tab contains Upgrades.

    Upgrades are the things that buildings research. They can be used as a requirement to use an ability, train/construct a unit, or to increase a unit-type's stats. These are like abilities in that they can increase a units max hp, or max damage, but they cannot only apply to one single unit. They must apply to all units of one type.

    That is the end of the Object Editor.

    The next button you will see is the Campaign Editor.

    Campaign Editor

    The Campaign Editor allows you to link multiple maps together, and create a Campaign.

    The next button you will see is the AI Editor.

    AI Editor

    This allows you to import custom Computers, change the existing ones, change how they will act.

    The next button you will see is the Object Manager.

    Object Manager

    The Object Manager is an excellent tool for viewing all of the stats of your map. It can tell you how many units, and destructibles you have preplaced on your map, and what the maximum amount is, as well as what variables you have used in the trigger editor. It will even list the triggers you used the variables in, and how many times.

    The next button you will see is the Import Manager.

    Import Manager

    The Import Manager allows you to import your own files into your map, and change the custom path of them. This is how you get custom models, sounds, AI Scripts, and other things.

    The very last button is the Test Map Button.

    Test Map

    This will automatically open warcraft with your map, without you having to go through the hassle of finding your map, and opening it. If you have the Preference option "Use Fixed Random Seed" Checked, then whenever a random number is picked, it will be used every time, so you can check to see if everything works.

    Now you are ready to start working on your map!

    importingnya gw jelasin aja daripada dalam boso inggris

    klo model lo import aja filenya, tapi nama filenya arus diganti dolo sesuai yg dikasih tau. biasa dikasih tau ama yg bikin...

    contoh, gw import model sponge bob,
    ada 2 file yg diperlukan
    Spongebob.blp
    SpongebobJellyfishingnet.blp

    trus pas dikasih catatan ama pembuatnya:

    skin yg diperlukan
    Textures\Spongebob.blp

    pas lo impor lo pencet 2 kali, trus lo pencet custom map path, trus lo ilangin war3mapimportednya ganti itu

    Eek? buat 2 folder?
    Hm... tapi selama ini g import models g pake 1 folder aja.
    Tp pathny g kasi Textures\apaaja.blp jalan koq...
    tp klo emng buat 2 folder bisa juga, boleh d coba tuh ehehehe...
    trus giman dengan potrait yg gak bener? maksudnya potraitnya ada, tp gmbrnya burem ato aneh gt deh..
    apa masalhny tuh?

    klo modelnya bkinian orang asli, pasti ada model+portraitnya sendiri soalnya bnyk animasi.
    kadang ada model ga pake portrait, itu cuma model biasa
    klo modelnya dari warcracft cuma ganti skin, di import tulis alamat skin aja , portrait otomatis ada
