Upgrade manual Cata Easy-mode.

Ok sebelum gw tulis cara upgrade client ke cataclysm,
ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan:

• Guide ini rangkuman dari guide gw diatas di page sebelumnya,
  hanya lebih ringkas karena file yg dibutuhkan sudah gw sediakan.
• Guide upgrade cata gw sebelumnya:

• Guide ini membutuhkan kesabaran dan waktu luang(lebih dari sehari).
• Guide ini membutuhkan koneksi internet yang berkecepatan diatas rata2, sekitar 1mbps.
• Guide ini membutuhkan space hdd yang besar, let say ~10GigaBytes.
  Tenang saja setelah stream 100% file2 akan auto-compressed dan menjadi mengecil lagi.
• Guide ini menggunakan contoh client versi 4.06a yang kemudian akan di-upgrade menjadi 4.3.4 15595.
• Guide ini bisa meng-upgrade client dari versi berapa saja, sampai ke 4.3.4 15595 tanpa offside ke Mists of pandaria 5.2.
  Tentu saja dengan file yg gw sediakan.
• Guide/Tutorial ini hanya untuk upgrade manual dari patch tertentu sampai 4.3.4, bukan dari 0 (tanpa client) sampai 4.3.4.

Here's the steps:

1. Persiapkan client yang akan di-upgrade (dianjurkan 4.0.6a).
2. Hapus atau rename "Launcher.exe"
   karena ini adalah salah-satu biang keladi upgrade offside ke versi terbaru WoW retail. (Mist
   
   of Pandaria 5.2).
3. Download, mfil, tfil dan mpq versi 4.3.4 15595 disini:

4. Extract file yang sudah di-download diatas ke dalam folder client wow mu.
5. 
   Kalo belum punya background downloader.exe / ke delete / out of date,
   download disini: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?koaa4i9z6ebrno7
6. Jalankan background downloader.exe dan tunggu sampai selesai.
   Sekitar 8GB+ kalau upgrade dari client 4.06a.
7. Sambil menunggu background downloader menyelesaikan tugasnya.
   Klik menu diatas background downloader View > Preferences,
   dan aktifkan opsi seperti gambar dibawah ini:

8. Setelah berjam2 atau malah berhari2 download, klik finished, seperti gambar dibawah ini.

9. Buka dan edit realmlist.wtf dan tambahkan code seperti ini, agar tidak terupdate ke versi
   
   terbaru wow.
   

   set realmlist 175.103.60.30
   set patchlist localhost

   Realmlist terdapat di folder wow>Data>EnUs / EnGB> realmlist.wtf. open with notepad.
10. Buka Wow.exe. dan lihat icon computer dibawah,
    jangan kaget karena stream hanya 60% walaupun background downloader telah selesai.
    Itu wajar, dan lanjutkan stream manual sampai 100%.
    Tidak ada cara lain(kecuali minta copy client full streamed dari temen).
11. Setelah berjam2 dan berhari2(lagi) 100% streamed,
    maka akan menjadi kira2 seperti gambar dibawah ini:

Pertanyaan-pertanyaan yg sering diajukan.

• Tanya: Gw punya client 3.3.5 bro, gimana caranya upgrade ke cata yak?
  dan berapa Giga yg dibutuhkan?
  Jawab: Dari client versi berapa aja bisa,
  dan tentunya semakin jauh dari contoh yg diberikan (4.0.6a) maka semakin besar ukuran(yg didownload) dan semakin lama proses upgradenya.
  
• T: Gw punya client 4.2.2 tapi tidak bisa upgrade step-by-step ke patch 4.3.0,
  gimana caranya biar bisa upgrade ke 4.3.4 yak?
  J: Langsung saja download file2 yg gw upload diatas (berisi tfil, mfil dan mpq client v4.3.4), dan ikuti langkah2 setelah download.
  
• T: Masbroh gimana apa sih background downloader itu beda ya sama IDM?
  J: Background downloader itu file downloader(semacam torrent dari blizzard), dimana file yg akan didownload tergantung dari mfil dan tfil yang di download sebelumnya.
  
• T: Bro gimana kalo background downloader.exe-nya ke close secara tidak sengaja,
  apakah bisa diresume lagi?
  J: Bisa karena background downloader itu adalah torrent dari blizzard,
  dan bisa di resume sewaktu2.
  
• T: Pak ini background downloader saya kok lama banget yak downloadnya?
  padahal internet saya super-duper-imbalatos.
  J: Cek opsi diatas background downloader. View > Preferences.
  nyalain smua opsi yang ada. dan lihat perbedaan speednya setelah itu.
  
• T: Sudah diaktifin bro opsinya. tapi kok masih lambret yah?
  J: Makin banyak traffic internet yang sedang berjalan maka background downloader akan terkena imbasnya, menjadi lambat. Makanya matiin streaming youtube dan tube-tube yang lain.
  
• T: Gan ini gw udah slese proses background blablabla. setelah masuk ke game kok masih harus streaming xx% lagi?
  J: Memang begitu, streaming selanjutnya dilakukan ingame(klik wow.exe).
  
• T: Tidak ada cara lain kah selain streaming ingame?
  J: Ada, yaitu copy client yang dah selesai 100% dari temenmu. Atau bisa juga beli dari orang.
  
• T: Bagaimana cara streaming sampe 100% apakah harus seperti cari The Explorer?
  J: Tidak, cukup kunjungi map lewat flight master yg telah terbuka semuanya. dan silahkan afk ditempat. Atau cukup buka wow.exe dan biarkan komputer + koneksi internet menyala
  dan jangan mendownload apapun, maka wow.exe akan men-stream walaupun lebih lambat dari cara sebelumnya.

  I've pretty much just always lurked around the community and such, however my friend
  
  recently ran into an issue trying to play my server when he had to re-download WoW, but they
  
  had moved into Mists of Pandaria. So anyway, I just thought I would contribute to the
  
  community since I had to do this for him anyway.
  
  NOTE: If you have a Cataclysm version and just want to go from 4.x.x down to 4.0.6, skip
  
  step #2
  
  For 5.0.5, you MUST do the new step 5, as Blizzard changed how Realmlist works..
  
  1. If you do not have WoW yet, head over to http://us.battle.net/en/ , sign
  
  in or register, and download the client (I have found out that you only need to download
  
  about 1GB from the official launcher, as private servers still install data in-game anyway).
  
  2. Once that's done, head into your WoW folder (for typical Windows it will be either
  
  C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft or C:/Program Files (x86)/World of Warcraft). Once there,
  
  head into Data and delete expansion4.MPQ. Within that same folder, go into enUS and delete
  
  expansion4-locale-enUS.MPQ and expansion4-speech-enUS.MPQ (if you don't have them for some
  
  reason, then don't worry about it).
  
  3. This next part is another tutorial which I used to fix my WoW a few times and since
  
  all the same ideas apply here, I'll go ahead and quote his thread to accredit him for this
  
  portion of the guide.

  4. Make sure that you grab a cracked launcher. I don't know how many times I have re-
  
  installed my game and tried to play a PS, just to find out hours later that I forgot to get
  
  a cracked launcher (You can download the exact launcher that I use here if you do not have
  
  one).
  
  5.For 5.0.5, Blizz essentially removed Realmlist.wtf and use a file called Config.wtf
  
  instead, however it doesn't seem to be compatible with older versions. So, go to your WTF
  
  folder, copy Config.wtf, go to /Data/enUS and paste it. Rename it realmlist, edit the file,
  
  remove everything and paste the setting for the old realmlist:
  set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
  set patchlist enUS.patch.battle.net
  set realmlistbn ""
  set portal us
  Then, simply set up the realmlist for your server, just as before!
  
  
  So there it is, I have done this myself and I did this for my friend, it has worked 100%
  
  for us both, so I doubt you will have any issues.
  If you do have problems you can contact me on here, however I am nowhere near an expert
  
  in this stuff, so I can't make any promise :I

Sebenarnya, mfil, tfil dan mpq memang harus di ganti,
kalo nggk diganti maka kamu akan menjadi pemilik client 5.2 (Mists of Pandaria).
Tapi kalau memang pengen disimpen, gpp. Masukin winzip/winrar/file compressor lainnya, trus pindah ke folder lain.

• coba ganti dns-mu mal (pake google dns [8.8.8.8; 8.8.4.4] atau obtain automatically).
• kalau nggk bisa pake ip google, coba pake 4.2.2.2 4.2.2.1 .
• pencet windows+r trus ketik ipconfig /flushdns.
• reconnect internet.
• kalau masih belum bisa, restart pc.

Realmlist ampm cata sama kyk wotlk kok(kemarin di announce gm), tapi masih down servernya.
Ganti realmlist ke ps luar aja dlu mal (contoh: m*nst*r-wow, 434 juga)
jangan lupa rubah set patchlist localhost didalam realmlist.wtf.
