Well... I am practicing my writing skill in English. Pretty sure the grammar is a bit off. Any feedback in terms of syntax or wordplay would be very appreciated.

The Ursa Major is still glittering in the sky when Jazdia opened her eyes.

She is shivering, the area around her is poorly lit. The campfire in front of her is flickering, nearly extinguished by the cold breeze. Jazdia lazily wakes up from her bedroll then adds more lumber to the dying bonfire.

She snaps her fingers, conjuring more fire to lit it ablaze.

The wind is howling again, but now fire in front of her is too fiery to be bothered by such nuisance.
Seeing how the flame consuming the wood bit by bit suddenly makes Jazdia wondering her existence, her nature, her ability and power, why she was born different?

Most of the time she usually let the question unanswered and accepts it as something that makes her unique... it's a good thing, right?

She smiled at her attempt to fool herself. Many people would say the same, despite their intention to cheer her up or simply avoiding a philosophical conversation, it doesn't really matter. They don't understand her, maybe no one will ever understand. Since she was a little girl, Jazdia always wanted to be the someone who saves lives, but then the reality told her otherwise.
