The team is neither entirely new or entirely the same, as from the former http://indogamers.us/ftpidgs2/rtt/flag2/usa.gif EG.DotA team, http://indogamers.us/ftpidgs2/rtt/flag2/kanada.gif JohnnyUtah and http://indogamers.us/ftpidgs2/rtt/flag2/usa.gif hit0mi return, bringing along their teammates from http://indogamers.us/ftpidgs2/rtt/flag2/usa.gif TPL.
While the team has been a formidable online force, the sponsorship once against makes it an opponent to count with offline as well since EG has had a string of stable offline performances in 2008 - second at DreamHack Summer 2008 and third at ESWC Paris 2008, just to mention a few.
