I need your comment here! (urgent, bout IELTS)

I'm a student of high school, second grade..
So next year I'm gonna be graduated..
I dunno which colloge I'll enter yet, but it seems binus is the only I do know..
So my point here is, I enter a university in Indonesia..
Then my friend offer me to join IELTS class, and it cost 7 millions rupiah..
I think it is a good oppoturnity to improve my english, but the price drive me insane..
Even if my parents agree to afford it, WILL IT BE A WASTE???

The price is also insanely high. My sister took the test last year around the 3rd quarter while she is finishing her 1st Strata.

You may take the test, but do it now, it will be somewhat worthless.

7 million cash for an IELTS test prep is a waste. A bloody big one my friend. You can get better test preps for much cheaper anywhere else. But from my experience, test preps doesn't really make you pass tests, they just give you the means to do so. It's the environment that counts. The tutors, the other pupils, the classrooms, all play a part in helping you pass,
The main thing you've got to remember, is that test preps don't make you pass such tests. YOU DO.

i see.. oh yeah, the course is monday to friday, one and a half hour until six months..
so 7 millions not just only a test, but 6 months lesson..
while if we take the IELTS test only, it cost 1,7 million.
i think it is very expensive bcoz it was held by an australian foundation, so it uses australian dollar.
anyway, I've made up my mind, i don't need it..

i think pay 7 million for an ielts class is a waste...join ielts class is not guarantee u to improve ur english so high..

yapz...in my opinion, you have taken the right decision...
it's better you find out another way rather than spending a large amounts of money for unsure thing...
you can do that test, without joining such a class,right?
then do it...but say no for joining class...haha...peace... :P
