YamateH coaches Team Ladies
Another female DotA team has emerged in Malaysia, featuring five competitive girls who are out to prove that gaming is not just for the guys.
As DotA becomes an increasingly popular game, more and more female players are making their presence felt. Barely two weeks ago, five Malaysian girls decided to band together and form an all-new girls DotA team simply known as http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla...d%20States.gif Team Ladies.
Currently, Team Ladies is made up of:

http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla...g/Malaysia.gif Stephy 'stephyjing' Sok Ching Lee

To readers familiar with the Malaysian DotA scene, female gamers like http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla...g/Malaysia.gif Vivienne '-viv-' Ee Kwan Chin are respectable personalities in the community. Having won numerous local LAN tournaments in the past, she has proven time and time again that gender is never a barrier in competitive gaming.
At the pinnacle of her career, Vivienne had the privilege of playing in the professional female DotA team known as http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla.../Singapore.gif PMS|Asterisk*.
Representing the minority group of female Malaysian gamers, Vivienne has championed the effort of promoting e-Sports by giving interviews on national TV as well as appearing in gaming magazines.
Meanwhile, myMYM.com recently published an article on Malaysia's first female DotA team, http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla...g/Malaysia.gif zK.Cheri. After debuting in a local LAN tournament and participating in several exhibition matches, the team has unfortunately disbanded due to inactivity.
However, ex-Cheri members http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla...g/Malaysia.gif Stephy 'stephyjing' Sok Ching Lee and http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla...g/Malaysia.gif Ker Xian 'Stephy' Kuo have continued to play regularly in scrimmages online. The two 'Stephys' are still enthusiastic and ever hopeful at the prospects of becoming professional gamers one day.
New girls on the block, http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla...g/Malaysia.gif Ooi 'iM.Rumiko' Fenny and http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla...g/Malaysia.gif Woan Wei 'LadyW3i' Chet are fairly inexperienced but talented additions who are looking forward to play in a team to further develop themselves as a player.
Interestingly, Ooi's boyfriend happens to be none other than the legendary http://www.gosugamers.net/bilder/fla...g/Malaysia.gif Wei Poong 'YamateH' Ng, who has willingly offered himself as the team coach in support of Ooi's ambitions. Ng has been seen training with the girls frequently in an effort to develop their skills and team play as efficiently as possible.
