Conditional Sentences explanation ~~ by : me
Conditional Sentence Type 1
It descripes "what will you do" if something happens.
Form: if + simple present, future tense
Example:
If it rains, we will cancel the trip. (Kalau hujan, kita akan membatalkan perjalanan)
I will kill you if you make love with my girl friend. (Saya akan membunuh kamu jika kamu ML dengan pacar ku)
Conditional Sentence Type 2
You're not in this state now and you think what you would do if you're in this state now. However maybe you'll be in this state in the future
Form:
if + Simple Past, Conditional I (= would + Infinitive)
in other way :
if+S+V2+O, modal (past form) + V
if+S+were+O, modal (past form) + V
Remember ! "Was" is never used in conditional type 2 although the subject is he/she/it.
Example
If I were a president, I would live in a big house. (seandainya saya seorang presiden, saya akan tinggal di rumah yang besar) - (but actually you're not a president now, but maybe you'll be a president in the future)
Conditional Sentence Type 3
It is imposibble to happen because it has already happened in the past. You think about what would happened if you had done different thing in the past.
Form: if + Past Perfect (had+V3), (would + have + V3)
Example:
If I had taken the first curtain, I would have gotten a car. (kalau saja saya mengambil tirai satu, saya sudah dapat mobil)
If you hadn't gone back to the hotel to take your camera, you would have died in the WTC incident. (kalau saja kamu tidak kembali ke hotel untuk mengambil kamera, kamu sudah mati di kejadian WTC)

Maybe if you're seriously reading this one and not quite good in English, you'll be sort of confused why it's 'If I were', not 'If I am'. Wishes that are probably unlikely to happen in the near future or very unrealistic uses the past tense, things that will probably happen in the near future doesn't use past tense (I think/know this is correct because my teacher said so, really, really sternly or something so I have it in the back of my head). I wish I was a toilet bowl, not I wish I am a toilet bowl
I wish the rain will die down soon, not I wish the rain has/had died down although both are acceptable in different situations but the latter (the 2nd one) is implying... wait, I'm getting myself confused again. The first one is saying that he hopes the rain will die down and it's a possibility but the 2nd one is wishful thinking I think. Please correct me if I'm wrong. My grammar's been horrible I think

Apa itu Klausa ?
Klausa [ dalam istilah Grammar ] adalah an expression including a subject and predicate but not constituting a complete sentence
:: Sebuah ( ekspresi ) rangkaian subyek dan predikat namun tidak membentuk satu kalimat yang utuh
[ membutuhkan kalimat utama untuk menjadikannya kalimat lengkap/utuh ]
Adjective udah pada tau lah :D, kata sifat.
Intinya, Adjective Clause itu klausa yang berfungsi sebagai kata sifat, atau bisa menggantikan peran kata sifat. ( functioning as an adjective ).
Contoh :
1.Stupid students understand adjectives.
Perhatikan kata Stupid students.
:: Students who are stupid understand adjectives.
Yang di 'bold' itu Adjective clause. Menjelaskan 'Students'
Ada 5 relative pronouns biasanya yang dipakai:
Who
Whom
Whose
Which
That
[ Ingat bukan berarti setiap kata yang ada 5 kata tersebut diatas semuanya berfungsi sebagai relative pronoun ]
Contoh yang bukan :
How did you come up dead after that ? That disitu bukan relative namun Demonstrative Pronoun
Who is your father ? Who disitu juga bukan relative pronoun
Contoh Adjective Clauses yang lebih kompleks :
1.I love school which oblige the girls wearing ultra mini skirts.
2.Teachers whom I admire wants to become presidents of Sate.
Ada juga 'Adjective Clause' yang 'relative pronoun'nya dihilangkan, lebih singkat, seperti
1.The gift I received was a shock.
Liat disini ada 2 subyek dan 2 predikat
Kata yang tidak disingkatnya : The gift that I received was a shock.
