Dutch Teacher Job Vacancy

We are currently looking for freelance Dutch teachers in Jakarta. We are looking for one teacher who can teach regular Dutch for beginners and we are also looking for one or more teachers who can and are able to teach the "Inburgeringscursus" for "Basisexamen Inburgering A1".

You need to meet the following requirements/qualifications:

- Proven Dutch teaching skills/qualifications/experience;
- University or Bachelor degree in Dutch;
- (important) affinity with tutoring/teaching;
- Fluent in Dutch, both written and orally;
- For "Inburgeringsteachers": experience teaching the "Inburgeringscursus" would be a nice to have.

For non Indonesians who want to apply some additional requirements apply:

- You need to have a valid working visa (at least valid for 6 more months)
- You need to be a native Dutch speaker with good/moderate Bahasa Indonesia skills.

If the applicant meets all the requirements but has no previous experience with teaching the "Inburgeringscursus" he/she should familiarize him/herself completely with the "Inburgeringscursus". Interviews with prospective teachers will be held in October in Jakarta. So this will give you ample time to prepare yourself.
For the "Inburgeringscursus' we use the "Ad Appel" teaching method and materials. The prospective "Inburgeringsteacher" should therefore familiarize him/herself with all the "Ad Appel' teaching materials (the book and all the online Ad Appel Inburgering teaching materials). We can provide him/her with the links/websites where he/she can find these materials.

The "Inburgeringscursus"
You will teach the "Inburgeringscursus" to small groups of 4 students. The teaching materials (Book, DVD, online materials) will be provided by us to you and your students. A teaching manual will also be provided to you. The "Inburgeringscursus" will take 2 months (9 weeks) and you will teach each group 3 times per week for 2 hours per meeting (a total of 6 hours per week).

Position and salary
You will work for yourself, you will not be employed by us. All we do is provide you with students and you are responsible for the teaching and the results. However as mentioned above we will provide you and your students with the teaching materials and (a yet to define) location to teach in Jakarta. The money you make will depend on how many students (groups) you can teach. For "Inburgeringsclasses" you will make €200 to €225 per student. This means that when you teach one group you will earn €800 to €900 for one course, this equals about €400 per month.
