Pros:
Born killer
Good chasing (with item build)
extremely good farmer
good defender
good at gang bang situation (sorry for the offensive language lol)
Good at mid to middle end game

Cons:
pretty useless at openning games
hopeless agaist stunners... (not all the time)
low hp+mp at openning game
hard to control
item build cost a hell of alot
not as fast as prefered
not as effective at the really end of the game (which doesnt really matter becuase mostlikely you will be winning)

Skills

Burrowstrike (E)
The Sand King burrows into the ground, tunnels forward impaling everything above him, then surfaces.
Level 1 - 100 damage, 400 maximum range.
Level 2 - 160 damage, 500 maximum range.
Level 3 - 220 damage, 600 maximum range.
Level 4 - 280 damage, 700 maximum range.
Mana Cost: 140
Cooldown: 11

your most important skill in the game, tto kill others you will need to master how to use this

Sand Storm ®
Sand King creates a fearsome Sand Storm. The storm blinds his enemies and he becomes invisible to them. In the same time his opponents take damage.
Level 1- 20 damage per second, 200 AOE, invisibility lasts 20 seconds, 0.3 second delay before revealed
Level 2- 40 damage per second, 250 AOE, invisibility lasts 40 seconds, 0.3 second delay before revealed
Level 3- 60 damage per second, 300 AOE, invisibility lasts 60 seconds, 0.9 second delay before revealed
Level 4- 80 damage per second, 350 AOE, invisibility lasts 80 seconds, 1.2 seconds delay before revealed
Channeling
Mana Cost: 60/ 50/ 40/ 30
Cooldown: 40

the least useful skill sand king have, however it doesnt mean sand storm is useless. This skill saves you many time during chases and also allow you to have time to heal.

Caustic Finale (L)
Each of the Sand King's attack injects a deadly venom that causes the target to explode violently on death, dealing damage in an area.
Level 1 - 90 damage.
Level 2 - 130 damage.
Level 3 - 170 damage.
Level 4 - 220 damage.
Orb effect.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A

this is a extremely useful skill, this is the skill that allows you to farm in a tremendous speed. with this skill you can hunt down any amount of creeps with a few hits. Caustic Finale causes the creeps to explode appon death this means that it sets off a chain reaction. kill around 2 creeps and puff! you realize all the other creeps turned into gold!

Sends a disturbance into the earth, causing it to shudder violently. All caught within range will take damage, and their attack speed and movespeed slowed by 40%.
Level 1 - 2.0 second casting time, 6 pulses of 110 damage, each pulse has a 300 AoE.
Level 2 - 2.0 second casting time, 8 pulses of 110 damage, each pulse has a 350 AoE.
Level 3 - 2.0 second casting time, 10 pulses of 110 damage, each pulse has a 400 AoE.
Mana Cost: 175/ 250/ 325
Cooldown: 140/ 120/ 100

now this is the "ultimate" ultimate, this is the skill that sand king generally use for killing, and often causes double kill or even triple kill! using this wisely will allow sand king to be beyond GODLIKE!

First of all, i believe that no one would object that burrow strike should be maxed out first of second, however some other players might disagree why i would add to Caustic Finale, however to achieve my item build there need to be some serious farming and this make Caustic Finale so important. First of all Caustic Finale deals damage including heros!!!! therefore you are actually hurting the enemy while you are farming (unless your enemy is a range hero which will be a bit more difficult).

Depending on the game, mostly you should be able to make a kill at around lvl 7 -8. if you learn burrow strike on lvl 7 you should be able to make a kill at that lvl. If you learn Caustic Finale, you will make more money and get a kill at lvl 8. If no one had make first blood i suggest you should make it by adding to burrow strike at lvl 7 and if first blood is drawn already i rather stick with farming. The target hero that you would like to kill at lvl 7 are generally strength "think they have a lot of health and they don't die heros" such as butcher, lycanthrope and night stalker e.t.c. while they tank the creeps or just farming. instead of attacking them attack the enemy creeps and try to kill it dealling damage to the with Caustic Finale. Normally they wont notice they are losing health however they are. then as a normal responce for most players, the hero will run at you and start attacking you (try to time this to be when the next spawn of creeps arrive). Wondering if you notice, if their hero attack you, your creeps will start to gang on him leaving him very little space to run. At this time burrow strike him and cast epic center. Normally when his is stunned the creeps deal alot of damage to the enemy. and with epic center which slows them down, normally they will die very quickly. However if they manage to start running, chase him. DONT chase pass the towers or you will find it difficult to get back. Dont be upset if you fail to kill the enemy with this combo becuase thenew enemy creep spawn that had arrived should be killed by epic center which give you a hell of a lot of money ( for starting). It also allows you to farm for a while without heros in your lanes.

WHY GETTING CRAPPY SAND STORM AT SUCH EARLY LVLS?? ( lvl 9-10)

well many people question the use of sand storm. I believe that this skill is quite useful! at lvl 9-10 you will be stepping into the mid game. This is the time when sand king is the most delicate since it doesnt have a fast item build (if you follow mines) compare to other heros and little hp+mp means being harrased. therefore sand storm is perfectly useful for farming. By adding 2 skill 2 sand storm at lvl 9-10 you allow your self to turn invisible and have 40 sec of recovery and plannign escape route time. harrasing heros such as lich, Lion, moon rider, tinker and other int heros, which are getting most powerful during mid games (since they should build up to have a lot of mp) could not catch you when using their combos e.g. lion's impale hex + finger of death. Make sure you do not use sand storm when there is a area effect stunner such as earth shaker, slithereen guard or Slayer. This will cansel your sand storm and leave you open for the enemy.

From my point of view, Boots of travel and SNY are must! although SNY has orb effect, TO HELL WITH IT! WHO NEEDS THE STUPID MIAM! SNY's increase movement and attacking speed is what you really want. It boosts Sand King's moving speed to 429 [ (300 original ms + 90 boots of travel)*1.1 (10% from SNY)= 429] which means you can chase down most of the unit when casting epic center ( dont you find it very annoying when heros like bounty hunter (without wind walk) and other agility hero out run you while you are left behind wasting your epic center? Plus epic center normally don't finish off strength heros with lots of health, with good chasing speed you can chase them all the way and kill them. Last of all I love Heart of Tarrasque because it works well with sand storm. 11 hp reg per second! and sand storm (maxed) last for 80 sec which means nearly 1000 hp recovered, not enough? cast sand storm again and heal another 1000 hp. this is good for farming and tower defence.

You can see how many optional items you can make. It really depends on what you like and who your enemies are. If there are lots of nukers, spamers and stunners i prefer Black King Bar (active skill which buff you up with magic imune). If there are fast runners i will like to use cranium basher or Monkey king bar. slow them down by stunning them! However take not that you should not buy both at the same time since the stun from each item cansels each other out!! This means when you get too lucky you get unlucky

uriza-do Kyanon and Aegis of Immortal are end game items, normally Sand king can end the game with Boots of travel, SNY and HoT. However you can get these for fun and kill more enemy! However take note that these items will be very useful in the end game if the game last too long. Since in the end games epic center will only take away aroudn half or even one quarter of the enemies life! and this aint good news I am telling you! Therefore it will be much better to get some high damage criticals to do some fatal damage or else sand king is not as effective.

My perfect Item build

General Tactics

This is going to very brief, but i hope its helpful:

For the starting game, always buy boots of speed, and try to get ring of regeneration

If you are the Scourge----- I like to solo Top lane

If you are the Sentinel----- I like to solo Bottom Lane

Strategies

Early game- FARM. FARM and FARM! item build is very expencive. I consider from lvl 1-10 is early game so try to get SNY and Boots of travel by around lvl 13-14. Avoid hero killing. I know it is very tempting however you must resist the temptation becuase there will be a lot of killing at mid and late games

Middle game- um... farm abit and until the absolute middle of the game such as lvl 15-16, it is time to kill! By this time you should have bought Boots of Travel and SNY. Try to catch heros which are farming alone. Hide in forest and impale them with a sudden strike. Cast epic center and watch them die! this tatic should last a while.. or maybe thats the only tatic?! However in team battles (gang bangs) try to impale 2 or 3 heros with one shot, this will require a special angle so i suggest to back stab while your teams are distracting the others. Then cast epic center and chase the hero with highest health since your epic center should be able to kill the others which are already in low health. This will help you get double kill or even triple kills.

End game- repeat of mid game strategies. However I beleive it will be much harder to use sand king at late games since epic center will not be able to do a fatal damage to many heros. Therefore a strong item build is very important. With MKB or Burize you can boost your damage which enhance you killing scores. The tatic of impale and sand storm will be much more frequently used since the enemy will be much more stronger at end game meaning that epic center will be casted alot of times and most of the time it is at coold down. While in sand storm, you can strike enemies all of a sudden with burrow strike and if you have epic center you can easily sacre off the enemy or even kill them!.

Tips
Never try to solo towers ( unless all their heros are dead)
Stick to tower often at early games
IMPORTANT- know when to retreat! this is important since every single piece of gold (money) is very important!!!! (expencive item build)
VERY IMPORTANT (for newbies)- while you are casting epic center, MAKE SURE that it is casted (while casting, it have green light on it's tail) which is when the ground is shaking otherwise you will cancel epic center!!! WASTED (i tried it a few times and missed alot of kills)
Best friends:

Omniknight- slow your enemy and no more running for them!

Shadow Shamen- Shackle the enemy while epic center... OUCH!

Drow Range- Icy arrows and silence, she is made for sand king (silence stop stun, ice stop flee)

Earth Shaker- You cant ask for more with a terrific stunner stoping you enem

Vengeful Spirit- What can be better when you have her switching places with an enemy which land right into your epic center??

Silencer- no more stuning, no more fear (Global silence)

Prophet- trap enemy with trees, sand king burrow into it adn cast epic, no where to run, no where to hide!

Gorgon- Slow all the enemies with purge, this is just give you free double kills and triple kills

Slithereen Guard- long time stun and fast chasing assist sand king with many kills

Magnataur- With his ultimate, it brings sand king's foe bak to magnataur and sand king to kill!

Worst Friends

Kill Stealing heros like:

Faceless Void- his ultimate stops your ultimate, wtf?

Lich- In group battles, he is the one that can steal all your kills with chain frost

Goblin Techies- Self destruct when you are going to kill you, invisible mines every where... GAYEST!!!

Dont be scared by the amount of worst enemies becuase there are mostly very hard to use. On the other hand, with the item build you have, their are just worst enemy becuase you can't kill them without somework, not in the way that they can kill you easily! . (note: gay heros can kill you easily *look above at gay heros)

SORRY for insultin people's favourite heros with the word GAY but they are in my point of view. So i hope you can understand!
