Karena itu, coba kamu browse dan pilih lokasi yang tepat, sesuai dengan lokasi kamu menginstall The Sims 3.
3. Setelah itu, edit sedikit registrynya.
Untuk Windows XP:
1. Pilih Run dan ketik Regedit
2. Masuk ke adress ini HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sims\The Sims 3
3. Pilih SKU dan klik 2x
4. Ganti Value Data-nya jadi 2
5. Pilih OK.
6. restart Komputer kamu.

6. Buka launcher The Sims 3, pilih Game Updates. Jika kamu mengikuti tutorial ini dengan benar, maka kamu akan menemukan pesan error yang menyatakan bahwa EA Download manager tidak terinstal dan ditawari untuk menginstall EA Download Manager, pilih Cancel!
Selanjutnya, lihat bahwa opsi auto update tercentang disitu, klik hingga opsi auto update Tidak Tercentang.
Close launchernya, jangan di minimize.
7. Download Kota ke dua River view dan bonus content lainnya di:
Extract seluruhnya ke My Document\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads, pilih yes jika ada konfirmasi replace.Spoiler untuk :
8. Buka kembali launcher The Sims 3 dan pilih Downloads. Lihat disitu ada banyak sekali object. Pilih Select All, sehingga semua object tercentang dan pilih Install. Tunggu hingga proses instalasi selesai.
Jika terinstall dngan benar kamu akan melihat tanda pada statusnya berupa kartu dengan logo The Sims 3 di tengahnya dan tanda panah ke dalam diatasnya.
