fotc edit: I just realized that it is April Fools’ Day in many parts of the world at the time of this post. This is not a joke. We are actually disbanding.
We originally intended to fansub Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko, also known as The “HENTAI” prince and the stony cat, or Hen’neko for short, during the spring season due to popular demand and generally positive expectations from the staff.
As all intelligent and informed individuals know, the best girl in this series is, without a doubt, Azuki Azusa. This is the absolute truth, and all who believe otherwise have the wrong opinion, which can neither be respected nor ignored. As all intelligent and informed individuals know, those who believe otherwise are blasphemers and heathens and must be executed on sight. Azuki Azusa is the best girl.
It was soon discovered in conversation, however, that three members of rori had wrong opinions. These three members were our former staff manager, Sutai, our former friend, Rem, and our other former friend, Kusion. Because we were good friends with these three, we did not have it in us to execute them. They escaped under our watch.
We apologize to all of humanity for this blunder. We hope you will understand. We had been through too much together with them. They were our friends, no matter how big of dummies they were.
We do not know where they are now, and we have no leads on their whereabouts. We ask that you do not look for them, and if you find them, to spare their lives.
Unfortunately, these three former members held key positions in our hierarchy and work flows. Sutai was our staff manager and typesetter. Rem was our line breaker and moral support. Kusion was our moral support. This loss of staff left rori with only three active members: a translator (fotc), an editor (Ioryogi), and a timer (archdeco).
The remaining members were good and devout. In fact, they were awesome buddies because Azuki Azusa is the best girl. But a fansub group cannot live on awesomeness and best girls alone. The resulting problems, combined, were fatal: A fansub group cannot exist without a staff manager, typesetter, line breaker, or moral support. After lamenting and attempting to rectify our situation, we arrived at the only possible conclusion: to close our doors.
We understand that Tsukiko is a good girl. She is very cute and has a voice like Ogura Yui. Anyone would want her to call them “Onii-chan.” I know I do, and I think everyone in our former group does as well. She probably also smells like flowers and tastes like a nectar sweeter than anything God could have created without assistance from Confucius, Buddha, and Satan. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm her smell or taste without sniffing her intensely and licking her all over. Remember, as much as you and I want to lick Tsukiko all over, it is illegal. Yes, lolicon; no touch.
We understand that her voice is very cute as well. Yui-tan’s voice is the most adorable and angelic sound in the entire universe. Everyone in the universe wants her to call them “Onii-chan.” She is also the most adorable and angelic being in existence. She probably smells like flowers and tastes like a nectar sweeter than anything God could have created without assistance from Confucius, Buddha, Vishnu, Satan, and science. Once again, we cannot confirm her smell or taste without sniffing her intensely and licking her all over. As much as we want to, it is illegal.
But I think eating her boogers is legal. I wonder what they taste like. They must taste wonderful.
While Yui-tan is lovely, and thus brings Tsukiko up a few levels closer to Azuki Azusa, Azuki Azusa is still far superior and the best girl. This is because Azuki Azusa is the best girl. This is something that all intelligent and informed beings in the universe understand.
Once again, we apologize that we must close our doors after one year and three months, but our group cannot go on. Thank you for supporting rori for as long as it lasted.
