WWE Royal Rumble Opener:
The Royal Rumble opened with a video package putting over the history and importance of the Royal Rumble and how it leads to the main event at Wrestlemania. It then hyped this year's event, and the three title matches on the card, with emphasis on Umaga's attack on John Cena from Raw last week. All three announce teams were positioned at ringside, and welcomed us to the show.
Referee: Jack Doan
MNM vs. The Hardy Boyz
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler handled commentary for this match. They replayed the injury from Armageddon after MNM entered, and a month later, it is still nasty to watch. Mercury is still sporting his protective mask. As the Hardys entered, they showed MNM's attack on Matt Hardy from Smackdown two weeks ago. They said Hardy suffered a dislocated jaw from that attack.
The start:
Matt dared Mercury to start the match, but Nitro jumped him from behind. Nitro beat Matt down, then tagged in Mercury to continue the assault. Mercury hit a kneelift and went after his jaw with punches. Nitro tagged in and worked over Hardy in MNM's corner. Hardy fought back with forearms, but Nitro tagged Mercury, who rammed Matt into a turnbuckle. Matt fought back with bodyshots, as Mercury covered up his face. Jeff got the tag and hit a slingshot kick to Mercury. However, Mercury got Jeff into his corner and tagged out to Nitro.
Mid-match notes:
Jeff tripped Nitro and hit a legdrop to the groin for a two count. The Hardys hit a double back elbow and elbow/backsplash combo on Nitro. Mercury ran in and Matt suplexed him. Matt gave Nitro a neckbreaker for a two count. Matt went for a slam, but Nitro floated over and decked Matt with a punch to the jaw. Mercury tagged in and punched Hardy in the jaw twice, hurting his hand on the second punch. Nitro tagged in, and worked over Matt with forearms, then choked him against the middle rope, where Mercury kicked him in the head. Nitro scored a two count, then applied a cravate. Matt tried to fight out, but Nitro hit him with a knee to the gut. MNM gave Hardy a double facebuster to their knees. Mercury mounted Matt and punched at his face, then gave him a short arm clothesline for a two count. Mercury applied a rear chinlock, but Matt fought out of it, only to be yanked down by the hair. Mercury went for a second rope elbow, but Matt moved out of the way. Matt punched Mercury in the mask, hurting his hand, and tagged Jeff.
Jeff ran in and cleaned house, giving Nitro a gourdbuster for a two count, then Whisper In The Wind, but Mercury broke up the cover. Matt ran in and gave Mercury a back suplex. The Hardys gave Nitro a double suplex. The Hardys went to the top rope for a splash/legdrop combo. Nitro got his knees up, so he blocked Jeff's splash, even though Matt's legdrop hit. Jeff and Nitro were the legal men, and Matt had to leave the ring. Nitro rolled to his corner and tagged Mercury.Mercury worked over Jeff's now hurting midsection with knees, then dropped an elbow. Mercury worked over Jeff in his corner, then Nitro tagged in for a running knee to the gut for a two count. MNM hit a double legdrop on Jeff and Mercury got a two count. Mercury applied a waistlock, but Jeff elbowed out and grabbed a cradle for a two count. Mercury responded with forearms to Jeff's midsection and tagged in Nitro for a double gutbuster. Nitro covered, but Matt broke it up.
Nitro kicked Hardy in the gut twice, then applied a bodyscissors. Jeff elbowed out of it, but Nitro used a front facelock to keep Jeff away from his corner. Jeff backdropped Nitro and tagged Matt, but Mercury distracted the ref, and the ref didn't see the tag. As Matt argued with the ref, MNM used this opportunity to drag Jeff back to their corner. As MNM went to double team Jeff, he managed to throw Mercury into a charging Nitro, then gave Nitro a mule kick and made the hot tag to Matt. Matt cleaned house on both men, hitting a clothesline/bulldog combo on both men and getting a two count on Nitro. Matt hit an elbow to the back of Nitro's head from the second rope for a two count. Matt went for a backdrop, but Nitro kicked it away. Mercury lifted Mercury for a Snapshot, but Jeff broke it up.
The Finish:
Air Hardy on Mercury, but as they went to do it on Nitro, he ducked, Jeff hit the corner, and Nitro grabbed Matt in a cradle for a two count. Matt hit a Side Effect on Nitro, then a Twist of Fate. Mercury charged Hardy knocking them both from the ring. However, as they fell through the ropes, Jeff tagged himself in. Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb on Nitro for the three count at the sixteen minute mark.
Winners - The Hardy Boyz
Backstage:
Backstage, Theodore R. Long was bragging to Jonathan Coachman about Smackdown's dominance in the Royal Rumble in recent years. Kelly Kelly was there as the "official tumbler". Edge entered and made fun of Kelly Kelly's name, saying her parents named her twice so she could remember it. Kelly responded "At least it is my real name". Randy Orton entered and he and Edge drew their numbers. Edge said to Orton "I'll show you mine, if you show me yours". King Booker entered and said "Tell me you didn't just say that".

Test hit some elbows in the corner and choked him with his boot. Lashley reversed a whip, but ran into a Test back elbow. Test then ran into a Lashley T-Bone suplex.
Mid-match notes:
Lashley hit a delayed vertical suplex, going one handed at one point. Test rolled to the floor, grabbing his back. Lashley went after him, rolling Test back in. As Lashley got on the apron, Test hit him with a shoulderblock between the ropes. Test then rammed Lashley into the ringpost, and Lashley fell to the floor. Test rolled Lashley back into the ring and covered him for a two count. Test applied an armbar with a chinlock. Lashley got to his feet and broke out of it, but ran into a Test boot. Test hit an over-the-shoulder armbreaker for a two count, then went back to the armbar.
Test hit some knees to the arm, and continued to work him over with the armbar. Lashley punched and shoved out of it, then ran into a Test back elbow. Test charged Lashley, and Lashley backdropped him. Lashley hit a clothesline and a pair of shoulderblocks with his good arm. Lashley went for a press slam, but his bad arm gave out on him. Lashley was doubled over in pain, and Test charged him with a big boot for a two count.
The Finish:
Test complained to the referee that it should have been a three count. Test went for a TKO, but Lashley floated over it, hit a belly to belly suplex, then hit a clothesline and Test rolled to the floor. Test got to his feet, started to get into the ring, then changed his mind and walked away, getting counted out at the seven minute mark. Seriously, he just walked away.
Winner by count out and still ECW Champion, Bobby Lashley
The Aftermath:
Lashley chased Test down the aisle, dragged him back to the ring, and gave him a running powerslam.
Backstage:
Backstage, John Cena was being checked by the doctor, and was in pain when the doctor touched his ribs. Vince McMahon entered, noting he was interrupting John Cena the way Cena interrupted him at Raw. McMahon questioned if Cena could wrestle, then mocked Cena's "You can't see me" gesture, saying he "didn't see" Cena being the last man standing tonight. McMahon then left the room as Cena looked annoyed.

Mr. Kennedy vs. Batista (c)
The start:
They locked up and Batista threw Kennedy to the mat. They locked up again, and Batista tossed him down again. A third lockup saw them go to the corner, and Batista broke clean, but Kennedy kicked Batista's knee, hit a right hand and rolled him up for a one count. Batista backed Kennedy into a corner and Kennedy poked him in the eye. Kennedy hit some shots, but ran into a boot by Batista.
Mid-match notes:
Batista delivered a vertical suplex for a two count. Kennedy rolled to the floor and Batista rammed him into the security wall. Kennedy grabbed Batista low and rammed him knee first into the ringsteps. A limping Batista threw Kennedy back into the ring. Batista hit some forearms and elbows, then worked over Kennedy with shoulderblocks in the corner. Batista was heavily favoring the leg, and Kennedy dropkicked it out from under Batista. Kennedy stomped Batista down and dropped an elbow and a knee on Batista's leg. Kennedy dropped his weight on Batista's leg, then got a one count. Kennedy applied a standing figure four, which he then turned into a reverse figure four. I haven't seen one of those in a long time.
Kennedy used the middle rope for leverage, and the referee caught him, so Kennedy released it. Kennedy kicked Batista down in a corner and continued to target the leg. Kennedy was bleeding from the nose. Kennedy hit a running facewash kick to Batista as he was slumped in the corner. Kennedy then hit a running knee to the head for a two count. Kennedy applied a single leg Boston Crab, and Batista went for the ropes, but Kennedy dragged him back into the center of the ring. Batista managed to roll through the move, then grabbed a small package for a two count. Batista went for a slam, but Kennedy floated over it and chopblocked his leg. Kennedy charged Batista, and Batista grabbed a spinebuster, but hurt his knee in doing so.
Both men were slow to get up. Batista hit some punches, but Kennedy kicked out his knee. Kennedy kicked Batista in the face, and Batista hulked up. Batista hit two short clothesline and a backdrop, then hit a clothesline in the corner. Batista slammed Kennedy. Batista lifted Kennedy into a fireman's carry and hit a rolling Samoan Drop. Batista called for the Batista Bomb, but Kennedy hit his knee to block the move. The referee caught an errant elbow from Batista and fell to the mat. Kennedy gave Batista a neckbreaker, but there was no referee. There actually seems to be fan support for Kennedy, despite Batista getting a huge pop for his entrance.
The Finish:
Kennedy revived the referee and hit a DDT, but Batista kicked out at two. There was actually a "Kennedy" chant from a large group of ringside fans. Batista reversed a whip, but ran into a Kennedy boot in the corner. Kennedy got on the second rope, and jumped right into a Batista clothesline. Batista hit a Batista Bomb for the three count at the ten minute mark.
Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion, Batista
Backstage:
Backstage, Ariel picked out the number from Kevin Thorn. As Coachman was commenting about the "freaks" in ECW, The Little ******* came in. Using a chair to reach the tumbler, he picked Finlay's number, then jumped on Coach and bit his ear. He kicked Coach's leg and started to leave ... bumping into the shin of the Great Khali. Khali drew three number balls. Coach said he could only take one, so he dropped the other two and left. Kelly bent over and picked up the balls. She said "Theses are the biggest balls I've ever held". Ron Simmons entered and said "Damn!"

Umaga vs. John Cena (c)
The start:
Cena had his ribs taped up. They went nose to nose at the bell. Umaga shoved Cena, and Cena hit some punches. Cena floated over an attempted slam by Umaga and hit a jawbreaker, but Umaga hit one shot to the body and Cena fell to the floor, clutching his ribs. Umaga punched Cena as he got on the apron, and Cena fell back to the floor. Umaga threw Cena into the ringside steps, then hit some punches as the two men worked their way up the aisle.
Mid-match notes:
Cena returned fire with punches, and they went back towards the ring. Cena rammed Umaga headfirst into the ring apron, but Umaga hit him in the gut and Cena doubled over in pain. Back in the ring, Umaga hit a headbutt and kicked Cena in the ribs. Umaga hit a punch to the gut, then a forearm to the back. Umaga hit some headbutts to the midsection in a corner. Umaga went for a charge, but Cena got his feet up. Cena then ran into a clothesline by Umaga. Cena was down, and the referee began to count, but Cena was up at seven. Umaga slammed Cena, then grabbed a section of ringsteps and prepared to toss them into the ring, but Armando had him wait to see if Cena was going to get up. Cena was getting up at six, so Armando told Umaga to throw the steps in. As Umaga got on the apron, Cena grabbed him and yanked him throat first across the top rope. Umaga fell to the floor. In the ring, Cena lifted the steps overhead and threw them to ringside, hitting Umaga in the head. The referee began to count, but Umaga was up at eight.
Cena went outside to toss Umaga back into the ring. Cena went to rebound off the ropes, but Umaga hit him with a spinkick. Cena was up at six, and Umaga hit a shot to the ribs and applied a bearhug. Umaga planted Cena with a belly to belly suplex, and the ref started counting. Umaga got the other half of the steps and placed them in the ring. Cena got up at eight. There was a "We want tables" chant. Umaga propped the steps in a corner, then placed Cena in front of them with some punches. Umaga went for his running butt blast, but Cena moved out of the way and Umaga ran into the steps. Cena lifted the steps and ran into Umaga with them. Umaga got up at seven. Cena went to the top rope and went for a bodypress, but Umaga caught him and delivered a spinning sidewalk slam. Umaga placed the steps in the middle of the ring. Umaga kicked Cena in the ribs, then used the second rope to hit a modified Banzai Drop. Umaga hit a second, but on the third Cena got his knees up in Umaga's groin. Cena gave Umaga a Throwback, sending Umaga face first into the steps. Cena slammed Umaga back first on the steps, then collapsed to the mat.
Cena was up at five, then did the Five Knuckle Shuffle fistdrop to Umaga. Cena lifted Umaga for the FU, but Umaga's weight caused Cena to fall face first into the steps. Cena was busted open, but got up by nine. Umaga hit a series of right hands to the bloody Cena. Cena got up at eight, and Umaga delivered more punches. Cena hulked up, daring Umaga to hit him more. Cena hit some punches, but Umaga grabbed Cena and planted him with a Samoan Drop. Umaga called for the Spike. Cena got to his feet, and Umaga went for the Spike, but Cena blocked it, so Umaga headbutted him down instead. Umaga tied Cena to the Tree Of Woe, then went for a diving headbutt, but Cena sat up in the ropes and Umaga crashed to the mat. Cena delivered a top rope legdrop, Rocker Dropper-style, sending Umaga headfirst to the mat. Cena threw Umaga shoulder first into ringpost. Cena rolled to ringside, knocking out Armando.
Cena grabbed a TV monitor and blasted Umaga in the head with it. Umaga got up at eight, so Cena hit a shoulderblock, sending Umaga to the floor. Cena got on the apron and jumped at Umaga, but Umaga caught him and rammed him back first into the ringpost. Umaga rammed the bloody Cena head first into the ringsteps, then headfirst into the ECW announce table. Umaga then ran across the Raw and Smackdown announce tables, looking to splash Cena through the ECW table, but Cena moved and Umaga crashed through the ECW table alone. Cena rolled into the ring, and Umaga, amazingly, stood up on the floor at nine. Armando was unhooking the top rope in one corner, as Umaga approached the ring and hit Cena in the gut. Armando got the one turnbuckle unhooked and barked orders at Umaga, telling him to hit Cena with the steel connector. Umaga charged, but Cena ducked it and hit Umaga with an FU.
The Finish:
Cena knocked Armando off the apron, then hit Umaga with the steel connector. Cena then applied at STFU, wrapping the broken top rope around Umaga's throat and choking him with it. Cena screamed as he choked him. Cena rolled off, and the referee started to count. Umaga started to rise, so Cena jumped on Umaga and choked him with the rope again. Cena rolled off, and got to his feet. This time, Umaga stayed down for ten, ending the match at the 23-minute mark.
Winner and still WWE Champion, John Cena
Backstage:
There were two balls left in the tumbler. Sandman entered, took one of them and got beer all over the Coach. Ric Flair entered and took the last ball. Kelly said "You're last, but not least". Kelly, Layla and Brooke then gave Flair a quick standing lap dance.

Friday Night Smackdown Results 16/2
With No Way Out just two days away, the Superstars of SmackDown looked to gain momentum heading into the last pay-per-view before WrestleMania 23.
Raw Superstars Edge, Randy Orton, WWE Champion John Cena and Shawn Michaels all were in Seattle for action on SmackDown. This Sunday, Cena & Michaels will team up to face Undertaker & Batista in a huge main event.
World Heavyweight Champion Batista & Undertaker teamed up to face Rated-RKO. The Phenom and The Animal were able to get the victory when Undertaker delivered a Tombstone to Edge.
After getting the win, Batista and Undertaker were laid out by Cena and HBK, payback for the attack the SmackDown duo leveled them with on Raw. Heading into No Way Out, Michaels and Cena seemed to have gotten the best of their opponents on SmackDown.
Earlier in the night, the World Tag Team Champions Cena & Michaels took on Mr. Kennedy & MVP - two young stars hoping to rise up the ladder of WWE. MVP and Kennedy did what they could, but HBK saved his partner from a chair shot, allowing Cena to FU Montel Vontavious Porter for the victory.
Mr. Kennedy immediately went to General Manager Theodore Long to voice his displeasures once more. Long was being visited by former SmackDown Superstar and current ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley, and Kennedy took exception.
When Kennedy pointed out, “I’ve beaten you once before Lashley, and I can do it again,” Lashley became agitated. His friend General Manager Theodore Long contacted ECW officials and the match has been made for this Sunday, where Mr. Kennedy will challenge Bobby Lashley for the ECW World Championship.
Gregory Helms squared off against Scotty 2 Hotty on SmackDown, and as Scotty looked for the Worm, he was attacked by Daivari. This set off a chain reaction which saw Daivari, Scotty 2 Hotty, Funaki, Jamie Noble, Shannon Moore, Jimmy Wang Yang and Chavo Guerrero added to a Cruiserweight Open Match for the Cruiserweight Championship. Can Gregory Helms continue his history making run as Cruiserweight Champion?
WWE Tag Team Champion Brian Kendrick was in singles competition against Deuce. As Kendrick looked to seize momentum, Domino interfered, causing London to come to the aid of his partner. With the refs back turned, Domino shoved Kendrick off the top rope and Deuce hit the ***** ‘Em in Da Mouth for the win.
The team of Deuce & Domino will challenge London & Kendrick for the titles this Sunday, after going above General Manager Theodore Long to get the match made by WWE officials.
King Booker hosted his review of the movie See No Evil starring his No Way Out opponent – Kane. Booker and Sharmell shared a laugh at Kane’s expense and then the King proclaimed, “I do not fear Kane.” When the Big Red Monster appeared, King Booker and Sharmell ran off, and Kane got the last laugh.
The Boogeyman avenged his first loss last week at the hands of Finlay by defeating the Irishman. Little ******* looked to get involved, but Little Boogeyman appeared and attacked him.
At No Way Out, Boogeyman & Little Boogeyman will face Finlay & Little ******* in a Mixed Tag Team Match.
In preparation for the Diva Talent Invitational, Kristal and Jillian tried to impress SmackDown’s General Manager. Which Divas will participate come this Sunday at No Way Out?
The lovely Ashley unveiled her Playboy cover, much to the delight of WWE fans.
Finally, next week on SmackDown, Rey Mysterio will make a special appearance in his hometown of San Diego.

- A graphic opening then hits welcoming us to No Way Out. We go live to Los Angeles where a series of pyro goes off in the arena. A shot of the crowd is shown as Michael Cole welcomes us to the sold out Staples Center. JBL says tonight is the biggest main event in Smackdown history. - MVP is on his way out to the ring to start the show off.
- WWE U.S. Champion Chris Benoit & The Hardys defeated MNM & MVP. JBL really enjoyed Melina's entrance tonight. Crowd was hot for Benoit and The Hardys. Mercury is still wearing a face mask following the effects from the December PPV. Benoit took out MVP with some quick offense including a quick snap suplex. Benoit & The Hardys kept up the pace until MNM got involved. Nitro took out Jeff Hardy on the outside on the ring barricade and then applied a headlock on Jeff back in the ring. MNM continued to double team Jeff each time he attempted a comeback. Jeff eventually tagged in Matt and Matt took out MNM. Fans are very behind The Hardys. Benoit hit a double-german suplex on MNM and Nitro landed very awkwardly. The finish saw Benoit counter a Snapshot attempt by MNM and then apply the Crossface on Mercury and Mercury quickly tapped out.
- Backstage, Kristal was with Vickie Guerrero. Vickie said it was good to be back and that she is going to do something important this Friday on Smackdown.
- Backstage, Finlay argued with The Little *******. Little ******* was scared to face Boogeyman and Little Boogeyman tonight. Finlay hugs Little ******* and then throws him in a trash can. The Little Boogeyman turned out to be inside of that and scared Little ******* away.
- Chavo Guerrero became the NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion in the Cruiserweight Open. Scotty 2 Hotty and Daivari started off the match. As soon as a competitor is eliminated, the next star will enter the match. Daivari was eliminated by Scotty following a Worm. Next out is WWE Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms. Scotty 2 Hotty was eliminated by Helms after a knee to the face on the ground. Out next was Funaki. Funaki was quickly rolled up and eliminated by Helms. Out next was Shannon Moore. Moore was eliminated by Helms following another knee to the face. Out next was Jimmy Wang Yang. Maybe a shock or not here - Gregory Helms was eliminated next by Yang following a quick rollup. Helms was furious and we will get to see a new Cruiserweight Champion crowned tonight. Out next was Jamie Noble. Noble was eliminated next when Yang hit a moonsault to get the pinfall. Last one out is Chavo Guerrero, although Yang had thought he had won the open and become the new champion. Chavo hit the Three Amigos on Yang. The finish saw Yang miss a spinning moonsault and then connect with a Frog Splash to get the win to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
- A promo for WrestleMania 23 airs.
- Backstage, Kristal was with WWE Champion John Cena. He said he wasn't concerned about any tension between himself and Shawn Michaels tonight.
- Finlay & The Little ******* defeated The Boogeyman & Little Boogeyman. Little ******* was still scared to come out for the match. Pretty funny moment saw Finlay take out Little Boogeyman with a big boot. Little Boogeyman responded with a small package on Finlay, but Finlay kicked out. Finlay threw Little Boogeyman out of the ring and Little ******* pulled him under the ring. Little ******* made a save for Finlay when Boogeyman tossed Little Boogeyman on Finlay. The finish saw Boogeyman go after Little *******, allowing Finlay to take out Little Boogeyman with the Shillelagh to get the win.
- A promo for Monday Night Raw aired.
- Backstage, Kristal was with Shawn Michaels. Michaels said he couldn't trust Cena and that the only person he could trust was Triple H.
- Kane defeated King Booker. Michael Cole isn't sounding too good as his voice is about gone just an hour into the PPV. In the early going of the match, Kane was the one getting in a majority of the offense on King Booker. Kane attempted a chokeslam, but Booker got out of it. Booker then sent Kane into the ring steps on the outside. Kane and Booker took each other out when both attempted a double-clothesline. Continued back and forth action between Kane and Booker. Booker blocked yet another chokeslam try by Kane. Big side slam by Kane on Booker. The finish saw Sharmell distract Kane and Booker hit a kick to Kane's face. Kane then caught Booker with a chokeslam and got the pinfall.
- A promo for the new D-Generation X DVD is shown.
- Backstage, Kristal was with World Heavyweight Champion Batista. Batista talked about tonight's main event when he teams with The Undertaker. Footage was also shown from RAW.
- Paul London & Brian Kendrick retained the WWE Tag Team Titles against Deuce & Domino. Lots of back and forth action between both tag teams. Deuce and Domino appeared to have the advantage for a majority of the match. London finally made a hot tag to Kendrick (which looked awkward as Deuce & Domino didn't really sell this spot very well) to even things up. The finish saw Domino miss a spot off the top rope, allowing Kendrick to roll up Deuce to get the pinfall to retain the tag titles.
- Backstage, Kristal was with Mr. Kennedy. He called Lashley a phoney wannabe, just like the crowd in Los Angeles. Kennedy said he has already beaten Lashley and will do it again to become the new ECW Champion. Lashley then showed up and took out Kennedy.
- Mr. Kennedy defeated Bobby Lashley via DQ; Lashley retains ECW Title. Bobby Lashley jumped Mr. Kennedy when Kennedy was on his way to the ring. Lashley threw Kennedy into the ring to get the match started. Live crowd in Los Angeles is fairly quiet at the moment. Later on in the match, Lashley got Kennedy up in a torture rack, but Kennedy broke that up with a rake to the eyes. Kennedy applied a reverse figure four leg lock on Lashley. When Lashley broke it up, Kennedy kept the offense going by nailing Lashley with some punches and kicks on the ground. Kennedy took out Lashley with a DDT. Fans are not enjoying this match at all at the moment. JBL tried to cover saying the fans were booing because Lashley was being taken out by Kennedy. Lashley came back with a big T-Bone Suplex on Lashley. Lashley followed that up with a torture rack into a big backbreaker on Kennedy. The finish saw Kennedy bump the referee and then leave to get a steel chair. Kennedy brought the chair into the ring, but Lashley got it and took out Kennedy with it. The referee called for the bell to give us a DQ finish. While those are never fun to have for a paying Pay Per View audience, it at least didn't completely kill the Kennedy character. After the match, Lashley goes nuts and takes out Kennedy with numerous steel chair shots. WWE agents and staff surrounded Lashley to get him to stop. Kennedy was out.
- Rey Mysterio returns to Smackdown this Friday.
- The trailer for "The Condemned" starring Steve Austin was shown.
- Michael Cole was shown in the crowd with actor Vinnie Jones, who stars in "The Condemned." Jones said he is the star of the movie, not Austin. He added that he kicked Austin's ass.
- Diva Talent Invitational: The Miz is handling hosting duties tonight. It kicks off with another "Kelly's Expose" featuring Kelly Kelly, Layla and Brooke. Jillian Hall was the next one out. Hall said she wrote her own song and starts to warm up. She starts to sing band and Kelly, Layla and Brooke laugh at her. The Miz stops Jillian from continuing. Jillian said she has more talent than the ECW girls. Ariel, Candice and Maria all came out nextk. Candice went after Jillian and a big catfight breaks out. Ashley then came out and they dropped her Playboy cover over the entrance area. Ashley then took off her top and revealed two Playboy logos painted over her *****. We've got 9 photos posted at the link at the very bottom of this recap. The Miz declared Ashley the winner of the invitational.
- A video package airs hyping tonight's main event featuring World Heavyweight Champion Batista & The Undertaker vs. WWE Champion John Cena & Shawn Michaels.
- John Cena and Shawn Michaels defeated The Undertaker and Batista Match starts with Cena against Batista. I'll give Michael Cole credit for continuing on tonight, as I didn't think his voice would allow him to make it. Batista clotheslined HBK, but he kicked out. Taker goes old school by walking the top rope and landing on HBK. Undertaker gives Cena the big knee in one ring corner. Cena superplexed The Undertaker, but Taker got right back up. Undertaker tossed HBK over the top rope, which allowed Batista to smash Michaels into the ring steps. Cole points out that both teams are working well together thus far. HBK hits Batista with a DDT, and makes the hot tag to Cena. Cena does the five knuckle shuffle on Batista, but Undertaker blocked the FU attempt. Cole is no longer talking, its just JBL. HBK blocked the Batista bomb attempt to Cena. Still no tag team friction. Yes, JBL is now doing play by play. Batista is busted open as Cena applies the front face lock. STFU by Cena on Batista, until Taker broke it up. HBK dropped the elbow on Batista, but missed the superkick. Taker hit the chokeslam on Cena, but Batista hit the Batista bomb on Taker! HBK superkicked Taker into an FU for the HBK/Cena victory at 22:09. Batista help up the world title over Undertaker, who was still on his back in the ring. Taker rose up and eyed Batista as the PPV ended.
- RAW starts with a video recap of last Thursday's edition highlighting McMahon vs. Trump.
- We go to the arena where a barbers shop is set up in the ring, Mr. McMahon makes his way to the ring. McMahon says he's excited for WrestleMania, his representative will beat Trump's representative and he will take great pleasure in shaving Trump's head bald, he says baldness is in at the minute, and shows a picture of Britney Spears, McMahon then has a few diferent images of Trump on the titan tron with different hair styles. He also mocks Hulk Hogan by giving Trump a Hogan hair style "brother, brother, brother, brother." Vince then goes on to say that Trump has one week to name his representative and he expects the answer on RAW. Vince finally says that he has chosen his representative, out comes Umaga. McMahon says Umaga is unstoppable and that he is about to become Intercontinental Champion.
(1) Intercontinental Championship - Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga w/ Estrada. Umaga has the advantage from early on, Jeff tries to come back, Umaga hits a samoan drop followed by his running into the turnbuckle power move and finishes Jeff off with the Samoan Spike to become the new IC champion. As Umaga receives his new title, Vince is grinning from the entrance way.
- Images for RVD vs. Edge in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match and John Cena vs. Randy Orton are shown.
- Image is shown for Mickie James vs. Melina tonight.
- Barbers shop has been moved to the side of the entrance way.
(2) Ric Flair & Carlito w/ Torrie vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch. No Lilian Garcia tonight, the ECW ring announcer, Justin Roberts, is handling the duties.
Crowd was into the match, especially when Flair was in the ring, Carlito was trying to impress Flair. Carlito hit the Back Cracker on Murdoch for the victory. Carlito, Flair & Torrie celebrated together in the ring.
- Up Next: We hear from Shawn Michaels & John Cena
- Backstage, Todd Grisham interviews John Cena & Shawn Michaels, they both act serious but then both plug their respective DVD's. They compare what both their DVDs contain, Michaels says "mine has this guy" on comes. Out comes Big **** Johnson who strips and starts to dance, HBK superkicks Johnson, THANK GOD!
- Orton & Edge were watching a monitor of what was happening and Edge noted that they have a re-match for the World Tag Team Titles next week. Edge also says he will be in the Money in the Bank Match and hinted that he may cash in his Title Match as soon as the Title Match is done at Mania.
- Video package is shown of Edge winning Money in the Bank at WrestleMania 21 and RVD winning it at WrestleMania 22.
(3) Wrestlemania Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Edge. Edge goes for the spear and misses, RVD hits a split-legged moonsault for a very close 2 count. RVD goes for the Five Star Frog Splash, Orton is on the ring skirt, RVD kicks Orton, after the distraction Edge hist RVD with a spear for the victory. Edge is going to WrestleMania.
(4) Women's Championship - Melina (without Nitro) vs. Mickie James. Another good match, crowd seem alive for this one too, Melina reversed a hurricanrana and pinned Mickie to become new Women's Champion!
- Backstage, Grisham tries to get a reaction out of Mickie James for her loss, she tells him not now but he doesn't get the hint, Mickie yells at him and slaps him hard!
(5) The Highlanders vs. Great Khali. Khali takes out both the Highlanders, pins Robbie after the Double-handed Choke Bomb, total squash.
- Another graphic is shown for Cena vs. Orton later tonight.

- Recap of Ashley's Playboy cover being revealed is shown.
- "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig is selected to be inducted into the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame on 3/31. A perfect decision!
(6) Non title: Randy Orton vs. WWE Champion & World Tag Team Champion John Cena. Crowd goes nuts for Cena. Crowd is red hot for cena, Orton has the advantage but Cena fires up and takes it to Orton. Orton hits the backbreaker on Cena, sizes him up for an RKO, Cena blocks it, goes for an FU on orton. Edge spears Cena for the DQ finish. Edge and Orton go for a conchairto on Cena, HBK makes the save, takes out Orton and Edge with a steel chair. Cena thinks HBK is going to hit him too so he falls to the mat, Michaels stares at him before chucking the chair down. Everytime Cena turned his back to Shawn, he teased a superkick.

The World Heavyweight Champion Batista has made it clear that he is ready heading into his match with Undertaker at WrestleMania 23.
On SmackDown this week, The Animal explained to WWE fans the reasons for his actions at No Way Out, when he Spinebustered Undertaker, causing the duo to lose their tag team match versus John Cena & Shawn Michaels.
“I cannot apologize for what I did at No Way Out,” said Batista. “Undertaker, we are even. Now we can go on to WrestleMania and give WWE fans a match they’ll never forget.” He continued, “I respect you Undertaker, but I am not intimidated by anyone.”
Batista’s strong message for Undertaker is sure to be answered next week, when the Phenom is scheduled to appear on SmackDown to offer his reply.
Rey Mysterio’s special appearance in his hometown of San Diego and a WWE ring was supposed to be a special moment for the former World Champion. The hometown crowd showered Mysterio with thunderous applause, to which Rey replied, “it feels so good to be in a WWE ring again, but it feels better to be back in my hometown – the 619.”
Rey’s ambitious spirit was evident when he exclaimed to WWE fans, “I wish I could wrestle right here, right now.” Rey continued, “I’ll be back soon, better than ever before.”
Hell-bent on the Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania 23, Mr. McMahon chose this opportunity to steal the spotlight as he entered the arena. He then questioned Rey as to who he thought would win the match in Detroit April 1.
Mysterio responded, “You are a loser Vince,” which sent both the crowd, and the Chairman, into separate frenzies. To the shock of the SmackDown fans at the sold out ipayOne Center, Mr. McMahon introduced Umaga, who entered the ring. Following the direction of the Chairman, Umaga unleashed a horrific attack on Rey, leaving the hometown hero lifeless in the center of the ring. WWE.com will have an update on Rey’s condition tomorrow.
Mr. McMahon sent Donald Trump, and whoever Mr. Trump chooses as his representative, a loud message heading into Monday Night Raw, when Trump will reveal his choice.
King Booker had told WWE.com earlier in the day about his feelings on facing Kane in the first-ever Falls Count Anywhere Money in the Bank Qualifying Match. (Read King Booker's Comments)
In a brutal, personal match stemming from the incidents of Royal Rumble, (where Kane was eliminated by an already eliminated King Booker) Kane looked to have the advantage. However, out of nowhere, Raw Superstar Great Khali appeared.
Khali decimated Kane, throwing The Big Red Monster through the ringside barrier. King Booker took advantage, and walked away with a victory. This victory gives him a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 23. As Michael Cole pointed out tonight, “on Raw, Khali had told Executive Assistant Jonathan Coachman he was looking for some competition, and he may get more than he asked for with The Big Red Monster.”
In other action, Matt Hardy teamed with WWE Tag Team Champion Paul London & Brian Kendrick to take on Joey Mercury with Deuce & Domino.
Still angry over what many consider to be an upset at the hands of London & Kendrick, Deuce & Domino controlled much of the action in this match, looking to make a statement. When Matt Hardy finally entered the ring, the momentum turned, and Hardy was able to pick up the victory by pinning rival Joey Mercury.
Finlay & Little ******* teamed up again to take on Boogeyman & Little Boogeyman in a No Way Out Rematch. Little Boogeyman delivered a low blow to Finlay during the course of the match, but in the end, after a shillelagh to the Boogeyman’s knee, Boogeyman was Little DDT’d by Little *******, who covered Boogeyman for the victory.
The new Cruiserweight Champion – Chavo Guerrero, not a fan favorite in San Diego for putting Rey Mysterio out of action, defeated Scotty 2 Hotty in his first title defense since dethroning Gregory Helms. Chavo stole the victory from Scotty, using the ropes for leverage.
The second inductee to the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame was announced - Mr. Perfect.
Finally, Vickie Guerrero told her friend Kristal that the “little thing that needed to be taken care of, I took care of earlier tonight.” What do Vickie’s words mean for SmackDown?

buat WM 23, masi banyak title2 yg blum ditandingin neh, menurut gw ntar yang bakal seru :
WWE Tag Team Title : Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs MNM / Extreme ( yg menurut gw nga mungkin soalnya uda tanding di MITBank ) / D & D ?
