Hi Yamateh, it has been a long time since we last heard from Kingsurf. Although you need no introduction, will you update everyone on the role each players play now?

As we all know, Kingsurf attended ESTC Winter last month and fell in the semi-finals to XtC. What was the main reason for the loss and what sort of experience have you gained from it?
During that period, we were not exactly prepared for the tournament as we did not practice as much. On the other hand, XtC came well prepared into the tournament and thought of a lot of strategies to deal with us. However, this will not happen again because we will be back to our previous form before SMM and will do better than ever.
Do you personally think the Kingsurf now is better than the old Kingsurf composed of Malaysian and Singaporean players?
Yes, of course. The main problem with the old one was because we constantly have disagreement between the members on everything. This team will never have any disagreement.
The whole world is eager to know if Kingsurf will be picking up Papaxiong for SMM. Is this happening? What about ice?
Although I personally have some disputes with Papaxiong in the past, we have chosen him to play with us in SMM because we are professionals and this dispute does not affect our professionalism and performance in the field. By the way, the Ice is not Iceiceice.
With only a week to the tournament, how are you guys preparing yourself for it?
Most of us are playing public games to see if there are any potential heroes to be used in competitive gaming. But yeah we do practice a lot and often finding for a team to scrim if we happen to have five online.
The emergence of 6.64 has created more opportunity for unorthodox heroes to be played. Will we be seeing a new trademark hero from Kingsurf? (Ex: Lanaya for Cybertime)
It cannot be revealed as of now. You shall witness it in SMM.
Recently, Cybertime's star farmer, Mushi has been hyped up quite a bit in the international scene almost as similar to you. What do you think of this? Who do you think is better?
I think that both of us have our own unique style of playing. However, I think I will do better in SMM.
Since Kingsurf is not really participating in any online tournament at the moment, do you take this as an advantage or disadvantage? (No strats revealed or less training? Explain.)
I think that it is an advantage for us. Although we have less chances to play with other teams, we do our homework and study the replays of the games played. I really do not see any disadvantage in this.
The last time Kingsurf met MYM or any European teams in LAN was during ESWC where KS were clearly dominant. With this new tournament format, do you think MYM will impose a bigger threat this time?
Pressure is inevitable, but we have beaten them once. So obviously we have a little psychological advantage over them.
Do you think that the MYM team is stronger with Kuroky or Maelk? And why?
Kuroky. Because I feel that Kuroky's ability is much stronger than Maelk's!
Which team do you think is the most fearful of all?
I think that every team is fearful. It's really a no-brainer.
Do you think a local Malaysian team or an international team will win the tournament?
I think the Asian teams will win.
Kingsurf has been the defending champion of SMM Grand Finals before you were dethroned by EHOME last year. Do you think you guys will be contending for champions this year?
Yes, we will do anything to win the title this year. We are very confident in that.
Who are you looking forward to meet in the tournament?
I personally hope that this will be like the football league where each team can meet each other. However, due to the time constraint, this is impossible.
