It was reported last March 20 that Sooyoung was cast in the tvN drama 'Third Hospital'. Today, the Korean Press Media released a picture of the script reading for the said drama; therefore proving that the long wait for Sooyoung's drama debut is finally over.

After the canceled 'Speed' production, Sooyoung had a rather vacant schedule of activities until it was reposted that she will be starring with A-list actors Kim SeungWoo, Oh Ji Ho, and Park Min Jung for Korea's newest medical drama, 'Third Hospital'.

To celebrate this, Korean fansites Its' You in collaboration with withSosi and 9-ife are planning on a project for her drama. They are asking help from international fans to provide food project for the staff and crew of the drama production. Are you guys willing to help in this project? She is the latest member of the group to throw a first pitch at a game. Following in the foot steps of Yuri, Yoona, Seohyun, Sooyoung, I’m sure she’ll try her best! And I bet she will ask them for tips and throwing techniques. Maybe Yuri in particular since she has the most experience.



I’m sure Jessica will try hard to earn the title “BK” Jessica, haha.

Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung participated in her first script reading and received much love from fellow actors Kim Seung Woo and Oh Ji Ho.

On April 9th, photos were released of the first script reading that was held for tvN‘s Monday-Tuesday medical drama, ‘The Third Hospital‘.

The script reading was held on March 14th with main stars Kim Seung Woo, Oh Ji Ho, Kim Min Jung, and Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, in addition to Park Geun Hyung, Im Ha Ryong, Im Hyung Joon, and Yoo Tae Woong.

‘The Third Hospital’ is set in the neurosurgeon department of an alternative hospital and will portray the tense confrontation between Oriental and Western medicine specialists. Being known among the cable channels as the ‘Medical Drama Invincible Myth’, it is gaining much interest.

Sooyoung plays the role of Eujin. With many senior actors around her, she was able to cutely express her lines well, receiving much love.

‘The Third Hospital’ will begin filming in April and begin airing in July.
