    Frequently Asked Questions
    Q: What is Unsung Legends (UL)?
    A: Unsung Legends is a mod (campaign) for WarCraft III – The Frozen Throne made by Blizzard Entertainment.
    It’s an RPG that takes place a year after the merging of Arthas and the Lich King. There will be a huge amount of maps to explore, with tons of quest. Each map will (in the final release) have about 25 quests, some quests are neverending and keeps getting harder, and as we’ll keep adding new stuff to it after the release, there will always be new areas to explore and new battles to fight.
    A lot of effort has been put in the project; it has been in development for over a year.

    Q: When will it be released?
    A: We can’t give an exact date, but we hope that we can release the demo in a month.

    Q: Will the resources made for the project be released to the ever-so-hungry public?
    A: Maybe, but not this release.

    Q: Will it be playable at multiple difficulty levels?
    A: Not in the first release, but we might add it later.

    Q: Is it a World of Warcraft remake?
    A: NO! The mod have it’s own storyline, characters, models, spells and concepts. Some parts of it, like systems, are inspired by WoW though, but the difference will be easy to notice.

    Q: Can I play as different races, and if yes, which?
    A: In the demo you will be able to play as human, forest troll, scourge and forsaken.

    Q: What will be the highest hero level?
    A: 60.

    Q: Will there be mounts?
    A: Yes, but not in the first release.

    Q: Will it have custom models/skins/icons?
    A: Yes, tons of, and we have very skilled people for creating those. There will, however, not be a custom model for every unit.

    Q: Will the spells be custom or just the original ones edited?
    A: There will be custom JASS-enhanced spells, but not that many in the first release.

    Q: Will it have custom user interface?
    A: Yes, and a very nice one.

    Q: Will it have custom music?
    A: Yes. And that music will be specially made for the project.

    Q: Will there be places that some Warcraft Lore Lovers might not of known of? Some made up?
    A: Yes, there are some places made up, but NONE wich would contradict warcraft lore.

    Q: What type of Warcraft leaders will there be?
    A: All of them, though there will be only Anub'Arak, Kel'thuzad, Greymane, Sylvana, Garithos & Varimathras in the demo.

    Q: How many different types of maps will there be?
    A: There is 3 primary types of maps:
    Towns: in the towns you can buy items, talk to people, visit the library and a lot more. In towns you are almost 100% safe, if it’s an allied town you’re in. If it's an ennemy town, then it becomes a dungeon
    War-torn area: 60% of UL’s surface consists of those maps. To show that war is constant, they are like AoS-type maps. Enemy and allied units will constantly spawn and attack each other, and you can help your team, fight creeps or find quests.
    Dungeons: are special maps without any allied units and are very difficult areas with tons of enemies. Defeating the monsters of a dungeon will usually give a good reward and release some special cinematic of the dungeon story. Every dungeon has a certain number of levels, each of them harder than the other before. Once a level completed, you don't need to redo it once more to get to the other one when leaving the dungeon.

    Q: Will there be NPC parties?
    A: You can have up to 2 NPC heroes for now (more later I hope) but you cannot control them completly for now. Later you will be able to control them as your hero as well as talk with them and complete special quests with them.

    Q: Can we swim, can we jump?
    A: you can swim, dig underground and cut trees to access normally inaccessible areas. The game can be as well an action RPG or an infiltration game.

    Q: Will we run out of breath underwater?
    A: Yes, but you got more or less time depending on your race.

    Q: Weather System? Do you have?
    A: The weather will change with time, and it will have some minor influences, but I won't reveal anymore. Just to say it, time does go slowly, so a day really last for about 30 minutes of playing, and not 2.

    Q: Whom can you interact with?
    A: With everyone, if they do not fire at you. (Well, pigs don't speak either).

    Q: Do your person Age?
    A: No, that's something we didn't introduce yet.

    Q: Will armour/weapons show on your hero?
    A: Not in the demo, but in the next releases, yes.

    Q: Can you ever fall and die or lose health?
    A: When you die, you become a ghost that can either find back his corpse and resurrect or resurrect at the spirit healer in exchange of some health.

    Q: Is there a heaven in the game?
    A: No.

    Q: Can we summon pets, and if yes, how will they act?
    A: They'll act like heroes, once you summon them they will gain experience and you can teach them new abilities and when they die you can re-summon them by casting the same ability.

    Q: Your character, will he, or will he not be effected by fatigue, hunger etc.?
    A: Stamina represent hunger and sleeplessness. You loose some every time you make an action, even walking slowly decrease it, while you can sleep or eat to increase it.
    Stamina effects how you fight and run, as it would in real life, and when you are down to zero in stamina, you loose health and die of starvation after a while.

    Q: Will it feature a custom inventory system with equip able items and such?
    A: Yes there will be a unique system for storing items and such.

    Q: How many custom armour/weapon items do you plan to have in the final release?
    A: Hundreds. There is currently about 30 in the demo.

    Q: Will there be animations for when you pick up items?
    A: No, not in the demo.

    Q: Is the game solo?
    A: No, in a sence it is, but you are partied with computers as a group and fight with them, our party system is great.

    Q: Will there be bosses, and how do you fight them?
    A: Yes. There will be bosses and big ones will require stratagies and will not be taken lightly and mostly are needed by a party to defeat, simple ones that arent insane dungeon ones or town kings will require your best effort and high level.
