General: Setahun telah berakhir di dunia Azeroth. Petualangan yang hebat telah dilalui dan pertempuran yang tak terhitung telah terjadi. Sekarang saatnya memperingati kemenangan dan memberikan penghormatan kepada mereka yang gugur. Dengan merayakan pesta tahun yang telah berlalu dan menyambut yang baru, para Ahli dan teknisi goblin telah membawa ciptaan terbaru mereka untuk menyemarakkan kota. Bergabunglah dalam pesta tahun baru dengan teman petualang mu.

Features:
Guards tertidur ketika bertugas, sehingga Booty Bay menjadi kuburan PvP.

* Fireworks: Penemu yang invatif dan kreatif dari Undermine telah menjadi staff khusus setelah penemuan kembang api mereka di bulan July. Penemuan mereka yang terakhir dan terhebat -- jangan disebut berbahaya untuk dioperasikan -- akan ditampilkan di kota setiap jam setelah matahari terbenam. Lihatlah ke langit, dan jangan lewatkan moment akhir yang akan menjadi pusat perhatian di seluruh Azeroth!

* Potent Potables: Apalah arti sebuah pesta yang bagus tanpa minuman yang nikmat? Minuman anggur terbaik di seluruh kota Azeroth sekarang dapat didapatkan di seluruh Bar di Azeroth, memberikan keceriaan dan selamat tinggal kepada tahun lama. LUNAR FESTIVAL


Type: Regular Event
Date: February 5th

The Lunar Festival is a time of celebration. The people of Azeroth celebrate their triumph of many thousands of years ago, when an alliance of good races (the night elves, tauren, furbolgs, and earthen, although all other races were probably involved at the time) defeated a terrible evil called the Burning Legion. It is also a time of remembrance for the valor and wisdom of that ancient age.

Today, the Lunar Festival is held by the druids of Nighthaven. Both the Horde and Alliance are welcomed to celebrate and shoot fireworks—a symbol of Elune's power. Ancient heroes of the past also appear throughout the land, offering gifts to those who find and honor them.

It is a time of happiness, fortune and celebration, but it has a deeper motive as well.

Omen, defeated so many centuries ago, yet remains in Lake Elune'ara. Although driven insane by the Burning Legion, the demigod still possesses Elune's blessing and thus is immortal. During the Lunar Festival, he stirs... and heroes of the land are called to defeat him once again.


LOVE IS IN THE AIR


Love is in the Air is an event that takes place around Valentine's Day (around February 11-15).

Something is in the air in the major cities of Azeroth. Some call it love, and some just call it friendship and admiration. Whichever it is, many guards and townsfolks now spend their days giving and receiving tokens and gifts to other amorous citizens.

The more skeptical, however, are suspicious of the strange "love sickness" clouding the hearts of so many. Will this widespread occurrence be simply taken as a recent outbreak of amore? Or will our brave adventurers find a sinister plot behind the source of this plague of passion? Only time will tell...
