Fnatic welcomes Koala, Neo retires

Just a few months ago, Neo have been recruited by the Fnatic DotA team to replace Stamx who retired. Neo assisted fnatic in ADC Season 2, and also helped to achieve first place with Fnatic at WGT Indonesia and WGT Singapore. Although with such a short involvement, Fnatic announced today that Neo will be departing from the team due to education reasons.


However, Fnatic is quick in supplementing the loss of Neo by recruiting a new member, Farand "Koala" Kowara. Koala is rumoured to have hidden talents by melen and will be first appearing on MGC event in China, ADC Season 2, SKOTH 2, Prime Defending 11 and Kode5.

Hello Koala, please introduce yourself and how you landed on team Fnatic!

Hello, my name is Farand Kowara and I ended up on team Fnatic by passing the test. I have played with them in the past and they asked me to join. I know melen's girlfriend Lynn very well and she helped me!

What team did you play on before Fnatic? Why did you choose to join Fnatic?

My former teams are SoRa, MaGic and XcN (newly formed). Why did I choose to join Fnatic...because I want to be a world champion!

What kind of heroes do you typically play in competitive matches? What do you think you can bring to your new team?

I liked heroes like qop, luna and meelee carry in the past.. but in my new team I think they will ask me to play ganking heroes like puck. I feel like I can bring what it takes for this team to take a step further because our skill is similar and my playstyle is unique.

So which player on Fnatic do you admire the most, and why?

All of them. They are Indonesia's number 1 players!

Why dont you tell us about your nickname, why is it Koala?

My last name is Kowara, so if you modify it a little you get Koala. LOL!
