halo om gua mau tanya nih khususnya sih sama mimin2 disini yang udah sering nanganin2 server

gua mau tanya gimana sih caranya bikin server

gue mo iseng bikin server TF2 buat anak2 net gua, selama ini sih baru ngelan, cuma klo ngelan berat di komputer host which is client laen ikutan ngelag2 juga
jadi kalo maen kaga bisa rame2, kaga asek!

gua ngarepin baget nih tutorial2 dari master2 disini yang udah sering nanganin server2nya

oh ya, TF2 enginenya sama kaya CS:S which is hl2 jadi kayanya ga beda

ISP gua pake fastnet bisa kan?

gua tau ini salah kamar tapi gua mau taro dimana lagi abis bingung maap ya mod min

contohnya : processor dualcore...dll.

Requirements :
- Windows XP , processor at least 1ghz and 256 ram
- an in ternet conexion (speed at least 100kB/s ) on OPTICAL FIBER.
- IP ROUTABIL / PORT FORWARD !
- 1-2 GB disk space


hldsupdatetool (Windows), Steam (Unix) Command List ( Jika ingin melakukan Update server ):

Syntax:

hldsupdatetool.exe -command <command> [parameters] [flags]

Commands:

-command update - Install or update HLDS.
-command version - View installed versions.
-command list - View available games.


Parameters

-game <game> - Mod game directory name.
-dir <installdir> - HLDS Install directory (if dir not specified, will use value from last run of tool).


Flags

-verify_all - Verify all HLDS files are up to date.
-retry - Automatically retry every 30 seconds if the Steam Network is busy.
-remember_password - Remember password (if a username is supplied).

Optional parameters

These are only needed to access limited content.

-username <username> - Steam account username
-password <password> - Steam account password

Contoh syntax untuk update CS ke versi paling baru :

PERHATIKAN dibelakang "-dir ." ada titik " . " , update akan dilakukan di folder di mana hldsupdatetool.exe berada.

Command-line parameters :

* -autoupdate - The server is searching for updates on startup.
* -console - HLDS will run in console mode (Windows only).
* -game <game> - Specifies which game/mod to run.
* -insecure - Disables Valve Anti-Cheat technology.
* -sport <port> - Specifies the VAC2 port the server should use.

Console variables

* +<console variable> <arg> - Sets the Cvar (or console variable) to the specified setting.

Some useful console variables

* +hostname "Server Name" - Specifies the name of the server.
* +ip - Specifies the IP when multiple network cards are installed. Required for VAC2 operation.
* +map <map> - Specifies which map to start with.
* +maxplayers <number> - Specifies how many player slots the server can contain.
* +port <port> - Specifies which port to open for client connections.
* +sv_lan <0/1> - If set to 1, server is only available in Local Area Network (LAN).
* +mapchangecfgfile "<file>" - Like Server.cfg, ran after every round change, before Plugins are started.
* -pingboost <1/2/3> - Selects between optimized HLDS network code stack. Set this on 2 usually reduces latency toward 1ms without loss of activity input packets.


Cara untuk menjalankan server :
1. Via Command line (shortcut):
hlds.exe -game cstrike -autoupdate -pingboost 2 +maxplayers 20 +map de_dust2 -port 27015 -port 27015 +ip 255.255.255.255

2. Via GUI tinggal execute HLDS.exe dan atur sesuka hati.

untuk menambahkan account Admin :
1.buka folder HLDServer\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs\
2. buka file Users.ini
3. baca keterangannya.

Untuk mengaktifkan plugin CSDM :
1. buka folder HLDServer\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs\
2. ubah nama file Disable-csdm.ini menjadi Plugins-csdm.ini

Coba ini deh..

Note : Setau saiah, server'' cs itu pada pake Linux yah ? hmm
