No more Fear in MYM

MYM's carry player Fear and the team are parting ways due to the obstacles that will be impossible to overcome.

The reasons mentioned for the end of cooperation are timezone constraints and Fear's new work and school schedules, which all combined made it virtually impossible for him and the MYM to coordinate practice and official matches.

One can certainly wonder what effect will the loss of one of the best farmers and carry players have on the team, even if MYM often epitomized teamplay like no other team on the scene.

MYM's captain Jacob "Maelk" Toft-Andersen expressed his thoughts about the change.

"Change is inevitable and often bittersweet yet some times for the better. Sadly, Clinton (Fear) will no longer be a part of our team as he could no longer bend his schedule to match us, the Europeans. We have had an awesome time throughout 2008 both online but certainly also at events. Clinton was with us at both Dreamhack and ESWC Masters in Paris, and he was a cornerstone to our success at the ESWC finals in San José as well as any online league or tournament we played in. We gave it our all and thank Clinton for the sacrifices he made to fit into the team and part as friends. All of us wish Clinton the best of luck in his future endeavours and hope to meet again at future events!"

"I'm sad to be leaving MYM, I've been with the guys for a year now, we've had a lot of great times together and I'll miss them all. But with my current schedule (new job and school) and being 9 hours behind the rest of the team it's just too hard to get online and practice with them or even play matches so I feel it's best they find someone in my stead. I'll miss the guys and hope the best of luck in the future."

maelk gak akan sedangkal itu dalam mutusin sesuatu..

anyway, mudah2an Fear bisa tetep main secara pro, entah di tim NA apa..
mungkin malah bikin tim baru lagi, sama temen2 lamanya di coL (sama ezy mungkin)..

mungkin dia akan retired

iya, gw juga ada pesimisme tentang itu, tapi lain lagi kl tiba MYM akan mengikuti jejak KS.. bikin 2 tim, MYM dan MYM.NA

MYM.NA bisa dipimpin sama Fear (toh dia dulu juga leadernya coL), dan anggotanya bener2 mereka2 yg dipercayai ama Fear ini.. Kaiser toh masih aktif di DoP trus mungkin sama ezy, dan mungkin merlini akan lebih pas di tim ini (krn zona waktu, dan merlini kl ga salah udah di smstr akhir kuliahnya), trus masih ada p0c (krn p0c juga msh aktif dota, walaupun ga di high tier league).. tp ini cuma harapan gw.. kt liat aja deh kemana dia akan berlabuh... ada gosip dia juga bakal masuk TPL (yg akan balik lagi disebut EG.DOTA)

tp pliz jangan retired!!! dia tuh salah satu yg terbaik, dan gw ga ragu dia bisa dimasukin katagori legend (karena kiprahnya di coL dan MYM)..
