The well-known seven-star formation of the Pleiades is an open cluster of stars in the constellation of Taurus, that is about 420 light years, on average, from our Earth - and consists of relatively young stars and planets. The term "seven-star formation" is derived from the fact that at least seven sparkling stars can be seen with the naked eye on a clear starry night in the northern winter sky. The planets of this system, however, are presently in an evolutionary phase which is totally unsuitable for habitation by any human life forms, including the Pleiadian/Plejarans.


The Plejares (Play-yar-eez) star system, from where the Pleiadian/Plejaran extraterrestrials truly originate, exists in a physical dimension like ours, but it is shifted a fraction of a second ahead of our space-and-time configuration and is located approximately 500 light-years away from Earth. The dimension "door" or portal through which the Pleiadians/Plejarans travel to reach our Earth from their system is located near a certain star in the Pleiades star cluster (mentioned earlier) which we can see in our night sky. From this dimension portal in the Pleiades, the Plejares are another 80 light-years further away from the Earth, albeit in another space-and-time configuration. It is interesting to note that the names for several of their stars in the Plejares (i.e. Taygeta, Elektra, Alcyone, etc.) have been passed down through antiquity and have been designated to the stars that we see in our space-time dimension.


Many people have come to know the race of extraterrestrials that maintain contacts with Billy Meier as "Pleiadians" or "Pleiadeans", as this was how they were originally introduced to Billy Meier. The truth and origin regarding the Pleiadians' real name of Plejarans was deliberately withheld from us by the extraterrestrials until February of 1995, when they officially withdrew all of their bases from Earth. It was their intention to assist Billy Meier in exposing those people fraudulently claiming to be in contact with "Pleiadians," either in a physical or spiritual form, since the contacts officially began in 1975. (For reasons of familiarity and due to publication archives, the term "Pleiadians" still appears in many publications.)

The Plejarans are humans of flesh and blood and reside on their home world called "Erra". Erra is one of ten planets that circle their sun, Taygeta (or Tayget). Four of the ten planets in the Taygeta system are inhabited by human life.

As shown above, one year on ERRA lasts exactly as long as it does here on Earth but is divided into 13 months instead of 12 (a month is called "Asar" in their language), with a compensating time of 23 years. A day on Erra (called "Musal") has 23 hours and 59.4 minutes. An hour (called "Odur") correlates almost exactly to an hour on Earth
