Mousesports has one of the youngest competitive Dota squads in the scene. The team around
Kim `Drayich` Larson stands under a big pressure as they are the successors of one of Europeans best clans ever. Most people in are curious about their future and their latest two addtions were the former D-Link PGS player
Radosaw `DarKy` Sobczyk and the old Wicked player
Georg `Fire` Krug.
To get a little view inside of mousesports we decided to have an interview with the two new mice which you can read below:
Hey you two, first of all please give us some short facts about yourself: Name, Age, Location, Favorite Hero, Team and Player.
Fire: Georg Krug, 18 year, Germany(Berlin), Ursa, fnatic and RITTER!
DarKy: Radosaw Sobczyk, 20 year, P(r)oland, Morphling, mouz, Twisted
You both recently joined the DotA team of mousesports. What were your reasons for this decision? How long did you play with the team before the actual join and how do you effort from it?
Fire: The reasons for me to join mouz hmm … I LOVE DRAY.... no (laughes)
I wanted a high-class team where i can do my best and of course where it makes fun to play and that’s mouz for sure
DarKy: I played with mouz only for few days. From scrim to scrim we were doing better and better what ended in me joining mouz officially. I think main reasons I joined mouz are: Great atmosphere in game/outside game, many ambitious and talented players and of course Papa Kim Drayich.
What did your old team mates say about mouz as new home for you?
Fire:They didn’t say something special they are just curious to see how mouz will do in the future.
DarKy: I wasn`t only leaving my team but whole polish competitive DotA scene. My previous team PGS reacted in two different ways
First way: Writing flames/insults/blames on biggest polish DotA forum and
Second way: PMing me at irc/Garena wishing me good luck in new team.
Mouz.DotA is a gather of players from all over Europe. Is the language a problem within the team as most members are speaking Swedish as native language?
Fire: Totally not they speak a nice English and I hope my English isn’t so bad also.
DarKy: All Nordic players are speaking fluent English so there’s totally no problem in communicating. Of course sometimes we can hear Swedish sentences but I don’t mind it at all (especially if Drayich sings).
In what line-up will we see you guys playing for mouz? Is there a main line-up and side players or is it always just random?
DarKy: The main line-up is still to be made. But if you ask me about what role I’m going to play it will be Semi-Carry/Carry.
Fire: Yes, the main lineup isn’t done yet but I will do everything that’s needed. I think mostly Support/Gang.
Will your team be able to attend at DotA LAN-Events in the future and which one would you like to visit the most?
Fire: I think that depends on our success in the future but I really would like to go to DreamHack.
DarKy: From what I heard from Dray we will need to first show how we play in online tournaments and if results are satisfying we will most likely go to every possible LAN. I know DreamHack is noisy and not so cosy but I would like to attend it most.
As part of mousesports: What will DotA be like in a year and which position will you have in the community?
Fire: In my opinion DotA is getting more and better with every new version! The tourneys and the community are growing up also so and I think I will still play DotA in 1 year.Hopefully still with mouz!
DarKy: I hope DotA will keep going forward even if there is no longer MYM, SK.DotA and ESWC. I’m pretty sure if we keep scrimming that much as we do mousesports will have no worry to say they have one of the best DotA teams on the world.
Let’s come to DotA as game. Do you think there’s any big balance issue in it at the moment and if you could, what would you change?
Fire: IceFrog shouldn’t do new heroes all the time. It would be better if he just rework/change some old heroes to make them useful in completive games like techie Night Stalker etc., of course NERF UNDYING and disable tinker to refresh BKB!
DarKy: There was and will always be some imbalanced heroes/items but -cm mode solves it perfectly by giving you four bans. I like DotA as it is now and only thing i would like to see in 6.60 is new hero/heroes.
Okay now it’s time for you to give shout-outs to your family, friends and fans!
Fire: Shout-outs to my old teammates, some diamondZ, friends and to all who like me.
DarKy: To everyone reading this some things you need to know about DotA competitive: It’s not only kills/deaths which counts but the teammates who help u get it. Not everything what u read, see on forums or TV is TRUE! and finally: Drayich is even funnier and kewler as u may think!
