[NEWS] Bye bye UCPro, Hello Mineski

[NdRuw]

Previously known as W4s|`Tbun, Malaysia powerhouse UCpro.Dota recently disbanded citing sponsorship reasons.

The team had previously agreed to play under the UCpro name during the SMM SGNDT 08' grand finals in Malaysia where they managed clinch 7th place, the best position for an all Malaysian team. Other achievements including 2nd runner up in the F4F #3 and #6 and championing various local LAN tournaments.

Team members were promised a reported RM800 per month contract, however 6 months down the road, the UCpro management have failed to live up to their promises for a contract leaving the team no choice but to move on to find a better home.

In the latest update, the team members have decided to join ranks with Team Mineski and calling their new team as Mineski.Tbun (Tbun is a cybercafe sponsoring them). They will be participating in the Cyberfusion event held in the MMU campus, an event to break the current World Guiness Books of Record with 38 hours of continuous gaming.

Another Update on Team Excello.DNA-SK

In a desperate attempt by the UCpro management to have a DotA team, they have approached Excello.DNA-SK to wear their name for the Cyberfusion Tournament, however it is still not known if Excello.DNA-SK will take up the offer and on what terms.

Team member DabeliuteeF will be parting to Australia to further his studies while WeNz will be undergoing National Service. The fate of the team are yet to be known.


My resignation from UCpro as Cheif Editor

With the recent IMBALanC Tournament held on UCpro's gaming server with top teams participating from all over South East Asia such as Kingsurf, StarsBoba, Mineski, and Fnatic there were numerous complains about the delay issues that were deemed as unplayable by foreign teams, many of which forfeited their position in the tournament.

Interviews were done, however the UCpro management decided to tear down my team's effort due to the mounting negative feedbacks from various top teams regarding the delay issues in the gaming server.

With such an inconsiderate move by the UCpro management, freedom of speech can no longer be uphold in any media coverage that is unbiased and with minimal editing. The readers from the gaming community no longer reads the juice and the truth.
