Permainan goldrush sebetulnya sangat simple. Ada dua team yang bertarung untuk menang. Secara default game akan di setting menjadi conquest mode. Apabila permainan tersebut adalah conquest mode tugas kamu seperti ini;

Kedua tim dapat 200 points, setiap 45 detik point tersebut akan berkurang 1 point. Apabila km menangkap tambang emas, point musuh akan berkurang lebih cepet, alias 1 point + 1. Jadinya makin bnyk tambang emas makin cpt kamu menang nya. Apabila tim km membunuh hero, point musuh akan berkurang 1 point. Bila point musuh berkurang menjadi 0, km menang.

Server bisa setting game mode yang lain yaitu Expansion atau Deathmatch. Kalo deathmatch sangat simple, bunuh2an seperti pudge wars sampai skor tim kamu jadi 40. Kalo expansion lbih simple lg, kuasai seluruh tambang emas untuk menang, tetapi saya dapat komplain bahwa game mode tersebut sangat bete, akan saya ganti expansion jadi "Classic Goldrush", yaitu permainan goldrush seperti yang dulu, menambang emas untuk menang.
