Well I learned it from watching a lot of western Movie......sometime's watching Tv is not such a bad Idea.... lol!
ACHTUNG Baby!
i read dictionary as a personal entertainment sometimes.. wkwk. sometimes it's just fun to scan the dictionary with your eyes & find a word you've never knew bfore..
i learnt english from magic english wkwkw.. you know, from disney.. my dad bought alotta that when i was in the kindergarten..
@gc, yes i can, if we learn just by speaking and reading, we never know what the mean for. For me, dictionary keep 70% part of english, and the rest like grammar, vocab etc keep only 30%.
just be confident.. dont stop writting, listening, and most important, talking in english, even when your friends keeps telling you, that you cant do english at all.. ignore em.. and jst be confident..
easier way is by watching and listening to english songs and watch west movie like G.I joe,TF2 and more..
and if you can don't listen to much indonesian songs because learning 2 language at once is hard
because men's brain can't use both right and left side of their brain at once because the connector between the brain are/is smaller than woman's
I prefer listening... you know, a lot faster than DICKtionaries..
but well, not everyone is audio learner as i am. those who prefer DICKtionaries is most likely to be the visual learner..
@
i love Gi Joe...

Yeah, I agree.. watching TVs, for me, is the biggest source of english.. It teaches you pronounciation, vocabulary--and also the usage of course.. And, it also teaches you to listen. There is only one flaw in learning-from-watching-tv; and that is word-spelling.
I play a lot of RPG games on PC and PSX, they help me to learn english, when i find a new vocab i don't know, i will open a dictionary just to know the meaning of that words. Believe it or not, I love reading grammar book, and I think, the structure of english is pretty interesting, and there are so many strict rules in order to write or speak English correctly. It's not about sentence, like the order of Subject Verb Noun to be a good sentence. But it's more likely to be a structure that u must know and aware about it. Finally, to be a good English, u must think before you speak, that's the part i like. Although Australian-English, Singaporean-English, etc doesn't really care about it. It's just an opinion, nothing personal.
when i still child i like to playing games ... it's really improve your vocab ... trust me ^^ ... but the hard one from english is grammar ... i admit im really suck on my grammar ...
