Thus, i want to make this english subforum alive. So, I've made this thread..

I'll start my first book then.. hope you guys enjoy it.


Book name : Alex Rider (book 1-7)
Author : Anthony Horowitz
Where did you buy it : Singapore, but maybe they have it in jakarta
Price : 250.000
When did you but it : A month ago
English level : intermediate with some hard words
Synopsys of the story : this book is mainly about some 14 years old guy, who is FORCED to be a spy. he found his father die as a spy, and m16 (england's version of FBI) wants him to finish what his dad did. one event after another, alex rider find out more and more about his past, and more dangerous mission waiting ahead.

this book is really awsome, the story is heart-stopping and actually anthony horowitz is nominated (and winned) the best kid author in the world. trust me, this book is worth that damn 250k. and the storyline's so amazing, its like walking in a street and you never know whats in the next corner. and.. its a heck better than harry potter and twilight. yes, that is the sole truth

FYI, in English, we use comma (,) as separator in numbers. Meanwhile, numbers after fullstops (.) are decimal numbers.
E.g : 250,000 is two hundred and fifty thousand
250.000 is two hundred and fifty

IMO, "English Level" is pretty relative to the person. What I found easy might be hard for the others. Vice-versa.
We should classify the English based on "Classic, Semi-Classic, or Modern"
