Fnatic picks up Unique Duck



Although it is still unofficial, players from Unique, Jeppe "Valeur" Valeur and Andreas "Ducky" Søgaard himself has came forward to reveal that their team leader, the beloved Donald-Duck will be moving up in the world by joining Fnatic.

The transfer of Donald-Duck to Fnatic is not surprising at all as the team has been scrimming with Ducky for several weeks now. Following the subsequent loss to MYM in Pick League XII last night, Ducky has taken the matter into his own hands and self-announced his departure before the official date.

Statement Andreas "Ducky" Sogaard:
" As many has noticed, I have been playing a lot of official matches for Fnatic/AEON.int lately and the team really is something special in my point of view. Some days ago they told me about their future plans and they hoped they could include me in these even though I stood leading my own team. I have been thinking about this matter before, whether I should go for it or not. This time I just couldn't help myself; I played a lot of games with them and love the guys at Fnatic/AEON.int, we all fit together socially and thats whats most important for them at the moment and with their plans.

The upcoming tournament in Malaysia will somehow be the battle for the world - EU, America and Asia will all bring their best teams, at least that is what the guys from AEON.int is hoping for. To be a part of that would be the biggest you could acomplish as a gamer. So my reasons for leaving unique-esports, a team I build up myself are very selfish, but the little boy inside of me can't stop thinking about what an experience this could turn out to be. Secondly I spoke with the guys at Fnatic/AEON.int if they were sure I was the right add, and they all seemed to agree that only I at the moment could fit in. And if Loda gets to SMM, I want him to be as happy and confident as ever, so he and the team won't disappoint the fans in Asia, and if im the guy to add to make this happen, well then I must be there. "
