This December, Beijing will house the first DotA TV League in the world with some teams already confirming their participation with others expressing great interest in it.
Although there has been a lot of speculation around the 30-day DotA marathon that will be held inBeijing, China on the 1st of December, the organizers of the tournament have insisted that the marathon will go ahead with top teams around the globe expressing interest.
At the moment myMYM.com confirmed, the champion of both World Cyber Games China and ESWC Open Games,EHOME, has confirmed that they will be attending the event while international teams such as
Kingsurf,
Xtreme Chaotix,
Fnatic and several
MeetYourMakers players have expressed great interest in participating in the tournament.
The event will be referred to as DotA TV League as a temporary name until the official name is announced on the 27th of October. Just in case anyone missed our update on the last news, DotA TV League will be similar to the Korean StarCraft proleague tournaments, where every team plays one or two games each week and all of the games will be held offline and played in a hall with fans and be broadcasted.
myMYM.com has received more information from the head admin of the DotA TV League,Wu 'asmetoyou' Fan, that throughout the marathon there will be a total of 14 playdays beginning on the 2nd of December and lasting until the 31st of December.
The prize pool for this majestic event will be as follows:
