EG.DotA officially disbands

Evil Geniuses' DotA division officially disbands and removed from Evil Geniuses official site.

egDuring the first quarter of the year when their American allstars DotA team was formed, Evil Geniuses promised a big budget for travel but has failed to send the team to a single LAN event this year.

Over the last few weeks, Evil Geniuses was rarely seen practicing with their full roster and has shown up with mediocre performances at best. All these led to a question: is Evil Geniuses' time up? This question has been asked by many and up till now, nobody has a definite answer for it.

However, after their championship win in CEVO-P against Blight.usa and against Australian powerhouse, MCiTY in Farm4Fame yesterday, the leader of Evil Geniuses, Clinton 'Fear' Loomis has posted a comment on Gosugamers saying that the team has actually disbanded and they are playing the remaining games just for the fun of it.

"I thought EG did pretty well considering they haven't practiced in over two months and the team has already broke up, just finishing their remaining matches for fun.

Sad EG made MCiTY play on the MCiTY hostbot, what assholes."

UPDATE
Evil Geniuses' DotA division officially disbands, which was evident by the removal of the team from EG's official site. A short note was put up at EG.DotA's IRC page.

Statement from Clinton 'Fear' Loomis and Jimmy 'Demon' Ho, on IRC:

"I would like to thank everyone who followed us, but unfortunately our time is up. We couldn't have asked for a better way to go out. Thanks everyone for your support! Team EG.Dota disbands"

UPDATE 2

myMYM had received another statement from Demon.

"The team had an irreparable problem that inevitably caused its downfall. We're still all really good friends and play together regularly. But unfortunately, like all good things, it has come to an end. I would like to keep my plans secret for now, but I think you won't see any of the players from the team retiring anytime soon. In fact, you might see some of the players playing together again in the future! It's going to be a mystery!!"
