AEON.my and AEON.sg merge

Both Asian squads combine forces to form AEON.cgc.

AeonSport has made yet another major change in its organisation by merging both its Malaysian and Singaporean squads. AEON.my is a fairly new team that never saw any action as it was only made up of three former Cybertime players at the time:

  • Joel "XTiNcT" Chan
  • Lee "xiGz-" Yean Xiang
  • Wong "ChuaN" Hock Chuan

Meanwhile, AEON.sg is regarded as one of the most prolific and recognisable Asian DotA teams to date, consisting of respectable veterans which have scaled the zenith of success over the years. However, they were recently plagued with roster problems and the very survival of this team was in question. The AeonSport management finally came up with a solution to resolve the crisis:

Statement Wei Zhen "Eryc" Wong:
"After the retirement of Darly "iceiceice" Koh and Lin "Bouncy" Zhi Ren plus the departure of Lee " Papaxiong" Vei Shiang, AEON.sg was left with three regular players for the past two months. AEON.my was facing the same problem when some of the players lost passion in DOTA and might leave DOTA for some time. Hence, the decision of merging is most welcomed by both squads. The newly merged team will be playing its first tournament under the tag of AEON.cgc - Allienware Singapore which will be held at Funan on 30 Jan 2010 (today). Wish the team all the best in the tournament!"

AEON.cgc team roster:
  • Benedict Lim "hyhy" Han Yong
  • Joshua Tan "ToFu" Jun Liang
  • Roystan Chee "Roy" Jin Sheng
  • Michael Luo "Dk-M@G3" Chao Qun
  • Wong "ChuaN" Hock Chuan
