Iron ladies kick off

Iron Ladies Championship is a tournament that takes place in China annually, and this year PMS|Asterisk* has been invited to compete against China's lone female team in Steel|KK. PMS|Asterisk* is one of the most well-known teams in the scene, while Steel|KK is widely unheard of. However, the girls from Singapore are apparently not taking any chances and have invited Shizuma, leader of Shizumapro which came in first-runner up in an SMM KL qualifier, to play with the team for the duration of the tournament.

The addition greatly boosts the team's chances of winning this year's edition as Shizuma has been said to be one of the best female DotA players and have even been touted by many to be as strong as her male counterparts. As for Steel|KK, the Chinese females will be licking their lips and look forward to play in the tournament, which is set to last all the way till Sunday.

PMS falls to Steel|KK on first day


Iron Lady DotA Tournament has began yesterday and on the first day, famous Singaporean team, PMS|Asterisk* has fallen short behind Chinese local team, Steel|KK in the first one versus one tournament format.

The day started off good for PMS|Asterisk as Shizuma manage to tear up Steel|KK. However, when Shizuma finally lost on the fourth round to XiaoM, PMS' performance went downhill as the team was torn apart by Steel|KK's final hope, Ruru.

Day two will be played out in a two versus two format. Each team will be given time to select their pairs and the winner will be decided in a best-of-three format. If PMS were to lose on day two again, Steel|KK will be awarded the title of Iron Lady 2010.

Shizuma owned day two


The day two of Iron Lady III is live in Shanghai. The games will be played in a two versus two format with the first team to score two victories (best-of-three) wins.

Since local Chinese team Steel|KK has won the king of fighter one versus one format yesterday, they only need the victories today to claim the 5,000 RMB (~500 Euros) from individual games while PMS needs to win to tie and bring the competition for the 5000 RMB to a third day.

Shizuma

Steel|KK with Mint and Sara has won the first 2v2 game against PMS made up of w4nderz- and PinkSheep. Things are looking bad for PMS since Ruru that destroyed PMS last night will be playing in game two for Steel|KK.

The combination of Shizuma and Kimchi proved too hard for the Chinese to overcome. The tournament will be going into day three where a five versus five tournament format will be played. The winner of day three will be bringing home 15,000 RMB (~1,500 Euros) while the runner-up will just walk home with a mere 2,500 RMB (~250 Euros).
