    The Ecology of Hollywood
    PART 1

    Los Angeles is a unlikely city. Built over major seismic fault, at the edge of one of the world most inhospitable desert, the city has developed like the extension of Hollywood movie set, a sprawling urban fantasy which many people feel should not really existed. Scientist have estimated that the land and waters in the area could naturally support 200,000 people, not the 15 millions that live there.

    Since the 1880s, Los Angeles has been transformed from sleepy cattle town with population of 4,000, to a seething metropolis that now account for nearly one per cent of global greenhouse emissions. It is the car culture par excellence, with nine millions cars contributing to the ubiquitous smog and air pollution and 40% of the population suffering from respiratory problems due to vehicle emission. Surprisingly, LA is now become the forum for some of the most progressive environmental thought in the USA.

    Hello, I'm back.
    Sorry for the late reply, I was busy at the college.

    @sariayu
    There are still few mistakes that are still unspotted. There are also some unneeded corrections you made.

    @soul_ripper
    That's fine. But unfortunately, your answer was wrong.

    I'll give you the answers by tomorrow. See you until then.

    @se_sukes
    You did a great job! Paragraph one is solved (you forgot to bold "deserts" btw, but that's fine). There is still one missing word and an unnecessary change in paragraph 2, which have been mentioned by Soul_Ripper! Let's see if you can find them.
