    Ryuugamine Mikado is a boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city. At the invitation of his childhood friend Masaomi, he transfers to a school in Ikebukuro. Masaomi has warned him about people he doesn't want to cross in the city: a champion fighter, an informant, and a mysterious gang called "Dollars." Nervous from Masaomi's stories, Mikado witnesses an urban legend on his first day in the city, the Headless Rider astride a black motorcycle. From then on, the existence of supernatural cases and a gang called the Yellow Turbans will rise to the surface, and Ikebukuro will pushed to the breaking point. (taken from ANN)

    * Based on a light novel series written by Narita Ryougo and illustrations by Yasuda Suzuhito.

    The author Narita and illustrator Yasuda Suzuhito's "distorted love story" is set in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, and revolves around an ensemble cast including street thugs, high school students, a female radio host, an underworld doctor, a young information vendor, and a headless Irish fairy.

    Narita Ryougo may be better known to English speakers as the author of the Baccano! novel series.

    My opinion:
    ceritanya menarik. gaya penuturan cerita juga beda.

    kan memang si penulis cerita fans berat shin megami tensei.
    jadi yah....

    sejauh ini udah 7 eps.
    biasanya sabtu rilis eps baru...
    dan gw bilang anime ini bener2 bikin gw penasaran sama alur ceritanya...
    meski "kepala" si selty udah ketauan ada dimana sama gw.....
