SGC disbands
Stability in rosters and sticking together for long periods of time are not traits usually found in the DotA scene. However, one team has clearly stood the test of time and that team is
Storm Games Clan. The Slovakians are the best example of a consistent and stable team, having proven time and time again that one can enjoy success without changing rosters all the time.
Although the team does not exactly have a shining row of accolades to show for their time and efforts, their history in the scene is immense; having upsetted the likes of stronger teams such as MYM, SK and Mouz back then, they have always been the underdogs most likely to win against the odds.
Today, SGC have decided that they will lay down their arms to rest; the disbandment was incited by
Michal 'Tulex' Zima's lack of motivation as well as school committments. The rest of the team decided to follow suit after their beloved captain announced his retirement.
Statement
Michal 'Tulex' Zima, SGC Leader:
"I have no motivation to play at the moment. I need to concentrate on school and the others don't really want to continue without me. We haven't trained in a month or so.
I'm not quite sure about what the others will do, I think a few might be taking a break from competitive DotA. If I can get my real life together, we might try something new, but for now, SGC is over. Our sponsor has been great over the past four years."
Storm Games Clan roster (before disbandment):
Michal "Tulex" Zima (Captain)
Martin "Warlog" Zima
David "kEEper-" Viselka
Honzik "Iacek" Hruza
Marcel "FAUS" Pospisil
Martin "idefix" Cada
Vilém "Vilik" Smižanský
