Generally a good pick after Dagger of Escape and your first core item. Being able to use Echo Slam twice is helpful for obvious reasons, and two Fissures is a nice perk

too. Remember that this refreshes Dagger too, so after letting your combo loose twice, you have a pretty good chance of getting out alive. Echo Slam reflects off of

corpses and currently dying units so Refresher really can allow you to do full damage twice.

The total amount of mana needed to use your combo twice, and use Dagger of Escape and Refresher is 1435. You end up actually needing around 1350 because of mana

regeneration. It’s 90 more to blink out too, but unless you blink out immediately after casting your spells, your regeneration should handle it. Keep in mind that you can

always leave out a second Fissure if you have less mana though. Here are the levels needed to use Refresher with each build:

Bloodstone: Level 20 (1336 mana)
Arcane Ring: Level 19 (1184 mana) must use Arcane Ring twice
Necronomicon: Level 25 (1378 mana) Bottle helps a little if you don’t get hit

V. Getting Two Runes at Once

This is possible. What you must do is pick up a rune more than 5 seconds before the next rune is set to spawn. This means that you must pick up a rune at X:54 or before.

Replace X with an odd number. If you do this correctly, another rune will spawn at Y:00 (replace Y with an even number). If you pick the next rune up, you will have buffs of

both the runes.

However, if you pick up a rune at X:55 or after (replace X with an odd number), you will get the buff of the rune you picked up, but a new rune won't spawn till the next 2

minutes. I will use an example to show you this.

Example: Success of getting 2 runes at once

Say it is 7:30 minutes into the game. I go into the river, and I see a rune. I want to have 2 runes at once. Therefore, I pick up a haste rune at 7:50, then a DD rune spawns at

8:00. I pick up the DD rune, so now I have both the buffs of Haste and Double Damage.

Example: Failure of getting 2 runes at once

Say it is 7:30 minutes into the game. I go into the river, and I see a rune. I want to have 2 runes at once. However, I pick up the rune at 7:56, then a new rune won't spawn at

both locations at the 8:00. Why? Like I stated above, you have to pick it up more than 5 seconds before. If I wanted to get 2 runes, I should have picked it up at 7:54 or

earlier.

IV. MISCELLANEOUS

Chance-based Orb effect

Theory
I have heard a lot of "OMG I'm so unlucky. Maim never triggers in the fight" or "Maelstrom/Mjollnir is crap. The chainlightning happens once after 20 hits". So is it real or the

player is just a whiner? Actually, he is partially correct. It depends on how did you start your fight.

Situation 1: right click (or press A + left click) to the target
I assure you that maim will occur on average 10&#37; of the time (S&Y), and lightning will be triggered in 20% of the time (once in 5 hits).

Situation 2: your unit is near the enemies and start attacking automatically
Maim and chainlightning will NEVER happen.

Situation 3: you right click to an unit. After killing that unit, your hero automatically change target to the nearest unit. Maim and chainlightning will not happen in this case

neither.

Situation 4: you press A + left click to the ground near the enemies. Maim/Chainlightning will happen normally when you attack every units around that area.
