THE BIG LIST of NASTIES & Counter Measures
As the game expands and the number of incapacitating effects grows, I feel we need a global list of the spells you need to be aware of in PvP and how to counter them (if possible).
Unlike other caster classes, Priests do not have talents that prevent lock downs from casting, so know thy enemy if you hope to survive.
I'll update the list as people post additions, corrections and countermeasures for each category. (we all know, "you can't do that while stunned" so please refrain from QQ posts).
STUNS:
Druid: Bash (Bear From), Pounce (Cat Form);
Hunter: Intimidation (Talent)
Mage: Impact (Talent Percentage chance to stun)
Paladin: Hammer of Justice, Seal of Justice;
Priest: Blackout (Talent Percentage chance to stun)
Rogue: Gouge, Kidney Shot, Cheap Shot
Warlock: Shadowfury (Trainable Talent)
Warrior: Intercept, Charge, Concussion Blow (Talent), Improved Revenge (talent)
Shaman: Improved Fire Nova Totem (talent )

Shadow Priest: Silence
Mage: Counter Spell (interrupt +8 second spell lock) Improved (talented, first 4-secs silenced)
DeathKnight: Mind Freeze: (4 second lock on 10 second CD), Strangulate (5 sec silence)
Shaman: WInd Shock, Earth Shock (interrupt, 2 sec lockout)
Hunter: Silencing Shot (Talent)
DISORIENT:
Rogue: Blind

Warlock Pet, Succubus: Seduction
Warlock Pet, Felhunter: Spell Lock (3 secs)
Warlock Pet, Felguard: Intercept (3 sec stun)
DeathKnight Ghoul: Gnaw (stuns for 3 seconds)
Hunter Pet Talents:
Nether Shock (interrupt +2 sec lockout),
Poison Spit (reduces the target's casting speed by 50% for 8 seconds)
Froststorm Breath (slows target for 5 seconds)
Hunter Pet Counter Talents:
Bullheaded - Removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control of your pet (meaning you will always get chewed on)
Ferocity: Removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control of your pet.
RACIALS:
Tauren: War Stomp : Activate to stun opponents - Stuns up to 5 enemies within 8 yards for 2 seconds. 2 minute cooldown.
Bloodelf: Arcane Torrent : Activate to silence all enemies within 8 yards for 2 seconds.
