did you ever have a great defense until 70-90%?
what kind of equip you have? or what kind hero and equip you choose?
iam only can until 65% def. even that cost many gold..

i ever see mogul hs armor up to 71% attack 200 is nothing...so i can imagine,, if the def is 80-90%,,or 100%

using guardian angel will give you 1000 bonus armor, giving 99% damage reduction...

well,i can say that.. the percentages of damage you can reduce from any enemy attack is depend of the number of your armor.. But the relation isnt linear,but rather exponential..

Example : To have 1% damage reduction,you must have 2 armor. For 2% damage reduction requires 4 armor. For 3%,it requires 8 armor, not 8.. Well,anything I say isnt exact by the way

You haven't tried it yet?
I have ever tried to increase armor up till 85% total damage reduction.
It is useless anyway because armor doesn't work againts magic.
Anyway if you have problem with melee attacker be sure to pick Omniknight on your team.He make armor benefit up to 99% nearly invulnerable.
How do you think much armor can make a greatest defend?It is stupid question enough
