Player Preferred Moves or Actions feature (PPM/A).
No the way your players move and behave have a rating...which you can edit! The following 48 are currently available to pick from -- I have included an explanation of each one -- we will be expanding these gradually in the coming years.
Runs With Ball Down Left - Likes to dribble the ball down the left side
Runs With Ball Down Right - Likes to dribble the ball down the right side
Runs With Ball Through Centre - Likes to dribble the ball down the centre
Gets Into Opposition Area - A player who likes to get into the opposition's area whenever he can
Moves Into Channels - A striker who likes to move into wide areas to receive the ball
Gets Forward Whenever Possible - A non-striking player who likes to get into the box when it is possible
Plays Short Simple Passes - A player who prefers to make short passes rather than attempting killer balls or long passes
Tries Killer Balls Often - Tries to play a through ball to the strikers to get them clear on goal whenever possible
Shoots Long - Likes to shoot from distance
Shoots With Power - Likes to blast his shot with power
Places Shots - The player likes to place his shot accurately when shooting rather than blast with power
Curls Ball - When shooting the player likes to attempt to curl the ball around the keeper
Likes To Round Keeper - When through on goal likes to attempt to go around the keeper with the ball rather than attempting to shot past the keeper
Likes To Try To Beat Offside Trap - Likes to try and time his runs to stay onside when the ball is played forward to him
Uses Outside Of Foot - When shooting or passing long the player likes to use the outside of his boot in order to curl the ball in the opposite direction to normal
Marks Opponent Tightly - Likes to stand very close to his opposition player when marking them
Winds Up Opponents - Likes to annoy opposition players to put them off their normal game
Argues With Officials - Likes to argue with referees and assistants
Plays With Back To Goal - Likes to receive the ball to feet while facing the player who is passing to him and facing away from goal.
Comes Deep To Get Ball - A player who comes to the line behind to get space when receiving the ball (a midfielder comes towards the defence to get the ball or the striker comes towards the midfield to get the ball)
Plays One-Twos - Likes to play pass and receive moves
Likes To Lob Keeper - Likes to attempt to lob the keeper when the opportunity arises
Dictates Tempo - Dictates pace of game from the midfield
Attempts Overhead Kicks - Likes to attempt an overhead kick if back to goal and ball played high to him
Looks For Pass Rather Than Attempting To Score - Player who in good position still looks for pass to player in better position rather than trying to score
Plays No Through Balls - Player to scared to try and make the killer pass
Stops Play - Player who pauses and looks around before doing anything with ball
Knocks Ball Past Opponent - Likes to knock the ball past an opponent and attempt to run around him and pick up the ball again
Moves Ball To Right Foot Before Dribble Attempt - Likes to shift the ball right before starting a dribble
Moves Ball To Left Foot Before Dribble Attempt - Likes to shift the ball left before starting a dribble
Dwells On Ball - Pauses too long with ball before deciding what to do (negative trait as oppose to "Stops Play" which is more positive)
Arrives Late In Opposition Area - Likes to make a late run to arrive in opposition area
Tries To Play Out Of Trouble - Like to use skill to get out of trouble rather then booting the ball to safety
Stays Back At All Times - Never goes forward (Generally central defender who never ventures over the half way line)
Avoids Using Weaker Foot - Always plays with the favoured foot (even if quite good with weaker foot)
Tries Step Over/Dragback/Trick/Showboat - i.e. Christiano Ronaldo at Man Utd aways tries step overs more so than other players. Along with Joe Cole and Jay Jay Okocha aways try 'training ground tricks' in a real game
Tries Long Range Freekicks - i.e. Roberto Carlos would attempt long range free kicks instead of delivering into the box. Players like Zidane/Figo take great freekicks but would never attempt to smack the ball from a long distance
Dives Into Tackles - Some player go to ground more than others
Stands Up/Does Not Dive Into Tackles - Some players tend to stay on there feet and clip the ball away instead of going to ground
Cuts Inside - Mostly for wingers who have a habit of cutting inside. i.e. Overmars, Pires
Hugs Line - Out and out wingers who hug lines. I.e. Pennant
Gets Crowd Going - Some players interact with supporters to gee them up. i.e. Ian Wright
Tries First Time Shots - Players like Alan Shearer tend to shoot as soon as they see the goal. (No nonsense)
Tries Long Range Passes - Players like Beckham and Lampard whip the ball long distances around the pitch
Likes Ball Played Into Feet - Likes to receive the ball into feet rather than high to head or chest
Hits Free Kicks With Power - Likes to blast free kicks rather than place
Likes To Beat Man Repeatedly - Likes to beat players more than once by dribbling round them then cutting back and doing it again
Likes To Switch Ball (To Other Flank) - Likes to switch play to the other side of pitch
Please Note: Players will do all these things anyway if they have the ability or tendency to do so according to their attributes and the better ones will do the positive ones at the appropriate times, whereas a player with a PPM/A will tend to do that action more often and use it when it is not appropriate to do so as well.
