Today, I dreamed of you for three times, each in my thrice-two hours-sleep. There, you said nothing and gave me sad looks.
Something happened to you, or were they just my dreams?
Ruins of A Castle
Once I lived in a beautiful castle with my Queen. It was not big, glamorous, and such.
It's just a nice sweet place for us to love and share. Every day passed with joy and care.
And I dared to say, it would be forever.
Others envy its warmth and beauty, others envy how I love you and how you loved me.
If there's such a love most beautiful, it must be ours.
I prepared its defense well, as to hold against many attacks. Not easy though, because so many love u, my Queen. Yes, you are blessed with such beauty it attracts many princes.
But I always believed that I was the one you love the most, for that I never have any worries.
Who will know, a storm came and rushed into our chamber. And in the distance, both of us hear the sound of swarming soldiers. I told my Queen, "It will be the greatest battle we will face, win this and the road to happiness would open for us, forever. I am more than ready to risk all I have to defend this castle to the very end, I can see a bright future with you." Please, wait for me here, I will bring glory and win this, even though the enemies far outnumbered us, I'll risk even my life for you."
You sent me of without words, but I believed that you would wait for my triumphant return.
The battle was fierce, I couldn't take even one long breath because of those many enemies, but I looked back to my castle and thought, "Everything I struggle for today will be worth it. Our castle is the best one can have, and you are the best one can love." So, I went on swinging my sword and raising my shield, defending our beloved fortress to the end.
Somehow, a letter came to me. Its effect gave me massive damage more than the enemies' swords and spears.
"I can't stand it anymore, I'm too afraid to face the result of this battle. I will escape, trying to look for another castle I can stay."
Soon after I read that letter, I put my sword to the ground, and shouted to the enemy, "Let's end this bloodshed, all of you may take whatever left inside my castle, even to take my life."
And comes the reply, "You should surrender from the first time you see us. We'll take everything you belong, and considering the victims you have caused us, death is more than something you deserve. Instead, we'll give you this poisonous drink, it will torture you for the rest of your life. The pain will be unbearable and you have to feel it until you draw your last breath."
I fainted for six months, and when I wake up, I was lying in the chamber of my castle. It's just ruins of nothing now, destroyed from its width to its length. Yet, I never want to leave it, I stay instead.
This place is a symbol of once I called true love and rhapsody. I'll never abandon it, never.
At nights, I may see the stars and recall the time when we saw the moon together. The time when we vowed our promise never to be apart.
At daylights, I may rest on my bed, hoping to have a dream of you, holding my hands and sing.
Behind the letter my Queen left me, I seal it with these words, "I love you, forever."
