Hey guys,
So just in the process now of joining the AMPM server and have a few questions mainly about the quality.
1. How often is the server down and how long will it usually go down for?
2. Lag much? I don't really care about lag in Dal or Org, but how does the server perform in raid conditions?
3. English? My bahasa is pretty weak still especially when it comes to the internet abbreviations are there any English guilds on the server or am I gonna be taking a crash course in bahasa?
4. Also guess this should probably go into tech support but is there anyway to transfer a character off a public server to a private one?
Anyway look forward to seeing you all in game eventually even if it will just be as I walk over your corpse,

1. once a week there's a regular maintenance(Monday), sometimes server goes down for some critical issues.
2. can't answer as i rarely raid.
3. most of the players can speak english and understand english (well i thought so), language barrier should be not a problem at all.
4. there's no option for that kinda stuff.

Hi and welcome...

1. The server's performance is pretty good. It doesn't down too often and when it does, it only takes 1-5 minutes to come back online. And just like Sunlounger said, there will be a regular maintenance on every Monday.

2. As for the performance in raids, well...as long as you don't use too many add-on, the performance is running pretty well (if it's not on lag condition)

3. As far as I know, there are no English Guild in AMPM server...but I have to say that almost all players understand English. But I suggest that you should improve your bahasa.

4. I don't know about this. Maybe the other member of this forum can explain it to you.

I hope my little knowledge about the AMPM server can help you, even if it's just a little

4. There is 2 realm in this AMPM server, the Consepcion and The Tourney (if i wrong, its my mistake), each realm has its own ID, and you can't transfers the same ID to other realm (otherwise the GM can do that, that is not allowed if asked for it though). Is that you asking for? i'm sorry before if i don't get understood at all ^^

1. you won't be seeing announcements on rolling restarts / maintenance in advance. just hope when it does happen u'r not doin any timed runs.
2. lag conditions is contributed from several unpredictable factors especially in this server. i'd expect regular FPS if u tunnel. but lag spikes do come often so brace yourself.
3. don't expect any dungeon runs before hittin' 80. don't expect any BG brackets other than the [80-89]. just powerlevel to 80 (should take you about 40 hours play time, tops) then you'll see some activities (i hope). no english guilds afaik, but there are a few friendly players that r quite well versed in english (then again they're prob, from blizz server).
4. public server as in Blizz server? this is a privately owned server, no connections to blizzard data server whatsoever. so on the topic of character transfer... that'd be a big fat NO.

I should probably add to this thread on "Speaking Indonesian"

Although we are an Indonesian-located private server, most of us don't actually speak pure Indonesian (using perfect grammar/spelling/sentence structure/etc.) some players prefer to speak Javanese, sundanese, or other localized slangs.The players here probably are semi-fluent to fluent english speakers as well (note that our WoW version is enUS) but prefer to speak Indonesian.

Here at AMPM, leveling takes 2 days as a minimum bracket and a week as a maximum bracket, depends on your play-style (Hardcore/Casual/Normal). Our EXP rates are currently doubled for a week, add to this fact that it was never blizzlike to begin with

a month? powerlevelin on this server takes around 48 hours of playtime. massive XP boost dude.
oh and if you start this week we got an extra double XP/honor/bla3
so if you're really good you can do it round 25 hours tops

Aku tinggal di Indonesia sudah satu tahun dan sudah tau most* mereka Kata2 tapi terima kasih ya ngga tau benguet atau lacur. Masahlah aku akan jadi mengerti semua slank kalian* pakai.
Sometimes if am unsure about a word or just simply don't know i will put the asterisk beside it.
Sweet glad to hear leveling only takes a day or so, even though will kinda miss the grind a little.
Is there a big demand for any class types on the server at the moment? Am guessing if leveling takes 2 days everyone probably has 20 alts so wont have any problem finding tanks/healers.
