Chapter 3
First blood

Next morning, when the sun shine still unclear in eastward and the cold air was still circulating around. Alleria, who have waiting in the Sentinels middle gate, found that her mate are late may due he was fall asleep or he have much something to acquired. Few minutes later he comes with hurry steps and carrying something beside his quiver. Alleria, who have been tired waiting for him, stared at him with annoying glare. So Anasterian must explain due he felt uncomfortable with it.

Alleria: Well you’re late Ranger! Why you took it so long?

Anasterian: Oh… I am sorry sweet heart. You know? I’ve take a while for spending my money for this stuff. It may be useful in our journey….

Alleria: A scroll of town portal and this salve? You may be kidding me….

Anasterian: what ever! Let’s go…

Then they are moving. Two hours march in the middle of the forest shall make every bodies was going bored. Unexpected for Anasterian and Alleria, so Anasterian starting to chatting with Alleria, to make the atmosphere around them being more heat and comfortable.

Anasterian: So Alleria, what you’ve found in Ashenvale recently?

Alleria: Ah nothing special, just: plague, betrayer, the undead and their generals.

Anasterian: the betrayer?

Alleria: Sure! Once the night elf warden named Mortred betraying her kin, joins to the scourge and become the most vicious assassin over Kalimdor. Even she was being a second in command in the scourge leadership. The another one is the Arch druid Furion stormrage’s son itself. The rumor says that he being obsessed to get the limitless power, so he trade his soul for The Lich king for get it.

Anasterian: ouch…, I’ve never known the sentinels have the tragic cataclysm between they society.

Alleria: you will surprise to see how people could be blind and mindless if they get over obsessed for something. Now tell me your story, my love. Where are you going after those 30 years above?

Anasterian: Well…, I’ve traveled around this world to found my beloved lady. But, she unpredictable, have standing in next of me instead. (Smiling)

Alleria: (blushed). Well I heard you’ve improved your skill in marksmanship?

Anasterian: Yup, and learn few arcane spells.
Alleria: the arcane spell? Though we’re Rangers have never interested on magic?

Anasterian: So it was different on me, when I was in my journey in Kalimdor, an Elf mage told me that I’ve the talent in using spells due my ancestors is the druidic spell casters. So I just made the best use of by improve that.

Alleria: many things have changed with you after 30 years. So what the kind of spell that you have?

Anasterian: Umm…, as I remembered. I could make my arrow piercing each enemy encounter and leaving the burning fires in the path, shot my arrow using the kinetic power to take down the enemy in the straight line, just like your own Powershot, and I could calls down the stars to bombards my enemies.

Alleria: very awesome…

Few moment later, they arrived at the scourge’s border land, they both sneak silently. The Scourge’s territory was as horrible as hell, the blight and plagued land with the rotten corpses and they Skelton could see scatter every where, very contrast with the sentinel’s territory, that always tranquil and evergreen. Soon they take their place to hiding when two of scourge general arrived and talking to each other.

Leoric: very well! Our armies are ready. Our master Lich king have command us to lead the assault against the Sentinels in one week ahead

Anub’arak: watch it, Skelton king. That must be confidential, don’t let the Sentinels know about the plan, go back! I want to patrol at the middle gate!!

Then two of the scourge leave that place, meanwhile Anasterian and Alleria who have known that plan was preparing them selves to back to the encampment.

Anasterian: What? That frozen statue is here? We must deliver that news as soon as possible. Now, let’s go.

Alleria: No question. Let’s go

Leoric stops his movement, the sound from they both leading him to observe and with a confidential sign he given to Anub’arak to take maneuver, which Anasterian and Alleria doesn’t realize that the mighty skeleton king has charge upon them.

Leoric: Why you must be hurry? Elves!! No, you both shall gets your grave here, DIE!!!

As the duo leap back, they realize that Leoric has stand behind them. And soon Leoric grasp his sword for swung it down with full force. The strike was so powerful but so predictable, so its not be difficult to evade by Alleria and Anasterian.
The sword hit at the tree as the result of his mistake strike and stuck on there, rendering Leoric with the disarm condition. Alleria who did not waste the advantage, channels the whirlwind around her body, definitely Alleria have cast her ultimate skill, the Focus fire. As the result, she shot her arrow with a lightning speed, the hundred arrows laid and pierce at Leoric’s bones, and it won’t be long to take Leoric downs and scattered.

Alleria: its good shots? Right…

Anasterian just smile. Then he saw the unknown movement standing behind Alleria, it was Anub’arak. He draws his massive claws and ready strike.

Anasterian: Alleria!!! Behind you!!!

But it was too late. As Alleria realize that their opponent has ready to charge her. Anub’arak swung his claws against Alleria’s shoulder. The blow is so powerful and makes her thrown few meters away and lying unconscious when she hit on ground.

Anasterian: Alleria!!! Urgghh….

With all of sudden, Sudden Leoric stab his sword at Anasterian’s back. The sword pierce through his body. Once Leoric kick him forward to pull his sword back from Anasterian’s body, throwing and knock him away as the result. Soon, bloods gushes out from the wound, and make Anasterian pinned down.

Leoric: Most people don’t know that I love to stand again after being killed.(stared at Anasterian) Huh, those elves make me sick!! Let’s finish them off and let them rot here…

Anub’arak: so be it.

Anasterian: (muttering) Heh… I don’t want to die yet! Not in this damn place, not with this way, and not with these people as the executioner!!!

Anasterian gather his power to stand and his right hand to covering his wound, however he preparing to cast his ultimate skill, and he realize that both Anub’arak and Leoric on their idleness and he was 7 meters away from them. Soon he took the advantage by casting his spell easily.

Anasterian: Anar alah kal thori, bash’a no falor thalah!!!

Anasterian casting his spell loudly, of course Anub’arak and Leoric realize that their target is still alive, so they both manage charge toward him to Finnish him off

Leoric: looks like he was still alive…

Anub’arak: huh may I have to chop him into pieces to make sure that he was already dead!!!

Leoric: indeed!!!

Anub’arak soon approaches him, preparing to make a final blow against Anasterian’s weak body.

Anub’arak: any words elf?

Anasterian: Yeah…, go to hell! you damned bugs!!!


Insulted by Anasterian’s sentence, Anub’arak with all of his might swung his claw up to destroying him immediately.
But before Anub’arak’s claws get stabbed at his limbs, Anasterian saw the light beam from the sky struck and cut off the claw that almost ended his life. Meanwhile, Anub’arak felt something pierce through his body, and he wasn’t wrong. The thousand fragment of the stars falling down from the sky and knock him down in totally pain.
The effects of Anasterian’s skill are no game. The sky on fury and showering them with a totally dangerous falling stars that will piercing through any foes who have contacted with it
And little moment later Anub’arak laid on the ground lifeless and his body gets holed in every inch oh his limbs. Although Leoric was stay alive, but with the one-hit-death condition.

Leoric: he’s so powerful although he was on the bad wound. His single arrow shot shall kill me instantly. I better back to the base or I will get the same fate like Anub’arak.

Anasterian saw that his last foe, Leoric. He smiled when realize that Leoric also has a bad condition and he known since Leoric just few steps from his range so he could slay him from afar. But Leoric also known that, so The Skelton king fleeing and run for his life.

Anasterian: Get back here you mindless one and fight like a man! Ughh….

As Anasterian try to pull his bows string, he felt the extreme pain on his gut.
And It won’t allowing him to chase Leoric down. So he walks slowly towards Alleria and lean her on the tree. Then he check at Alleria’s wound

Anasterian: Bad luck!!! Alleria’s wound may isn’t lethal but it will be a serious and potential to be a permanent handicap if not get cure immediately.

Anasterian took out the salve from his pack. And pour that salve on her wound. Several moments later the salve healing her perfectly even doesn’t left a scar.

Anasterian: the cure has works perfectly…, I hope Alleria did not upset when she known that I have to touch her ****** to pour that salve. Huh now I have to worry about my wound cause I just have one salve.
Damn!!! That shop should gave some bonuses to every body who shopping there.

Anasterian sit beside Alleria and with his last energy that he had, he torn his cloak to bandage his wound.
Several minutes later Alleria regain her conscious. Standing and felt the wound on her shoulder had gone.

Alleria: where I am? Am I already dead?

Anasterian: hold on sweet heart, you aren’t died yet but that bug it was!

Alleria: He is dead, isn’t he?

Anasterian: humph… if you still doubt, may you have to chop him into a pieces to make sure that he is already dead…, but it was not necessary, so never mind!

Alleria: what about my wound? As I remembered I’ve got a vicious strike on my shoulder…

Anasterian: Nah! That’s why am saying that those crappy items will be useful!!!

Alleria: your wound! Ouch hang on dear; we’ve to back to the base immediately. It’s able to you for walk?

Anasterian: well I don’t think so. But fortunately I have the scroll of town on my inventory so we didn’t need to walk to reach our base. Well I don’t have enough energy to cast the teleportation spell, so will you bring us back honey?

Alleria: (take the scroll and cast) Problem solved. Let’s go!

Few second later the magical runes appeared around them and bring them back to the sentinel’s base.

Chapter 4
Beloved lady


Next morning. Which Chen was so busy and unbelieving for any thing was happened to his last patient who still alive after gets struck by the vicious attack. He walk around and reading his magical healing theory books to reduce his wonder

Chen: It’s a miracle!!! His wound so seriously lethal. Damn, lads you’re very, very lucky!!

Alleria: Calm down old man, he just awake and you yelling at him, could you saying it with more easy and slower?

Chen: Calm? Lads!!! That wound opened few millimeters ahead from your heart s main artery and if it reaches your artery you may not being here to join with us!
Girl. I talking about facing out with the death but you don t realize that!!

Anasterian: so badly? But how you could fix me up?

Chen: Hey, they not call me Doctor Chen the holy knight without any reason, don t worry, tomorrow you will be back on your best condition. Thanks for my special salve that could heal even the deepest wounds!

Anasterian: Let me guess, the healing salve that prices at 100 gold coins?

Chen: Hey!! That’s my invention. And I have the copy rights since it using for any heroes in Azeroth

Alleria: What ever! I glad to see you well Anasterian

Chen: Okay my jobs here have done, so I got to go. And let you talk heart to heart with him.

After Chen goes out...

Alleria: How are you, my love?

Anasterian: Err, better than ever, I though

Alleria: Oh, I just wonder, you had the wound more lethal than me. Why you take a risk by not healing your self instead?

Anasterian: Owh, about it. Well I just can’t see my beloved women on agony and I cannot do any thing to help her, simply because I love you. That’s all

Alleria: You always make me love you, Anasterian…

Anasterian: well, I just try to be a good man.

Then Anasterian standing out from his bed and took something from his pocket. It was a ring, made by a pure gold and decorates by a blue emerald stone in the top of it.
Anasterian hold that ring and soon kneeling in front of Alleria, then he saying:

Anasterian: Alleria windrunner, are you willing to marry with me after this war going over?

Alleria: umm…yeah I…

Anasterian: yeah I also thought that it’s may be too fast, its okay Alleria, I could understand.

Alleria: (gulped and blushing) no…, don’t meant like that.

Anasterian: so?

Alleria: Anasterian crystalarrow. I accept propose to marriage me, sweet heart! But you have to winning this war.

Anasterian: I shall, my love I promise.

Then they both were hugging. Anasterian felt that, it’s was his wonderful day in his live when his love has finally accept his propose.
But suddenly he felt someone had standing behind them.


Sylvanas: Ohhhh so sweat!!


Anasterian and Alleria shocked when Sylvanas and Lina breach down the door and stared at them with devils smile and talk with annoying intonation.

Anasterian: ….What happened with with you people? Could you being more polite by knock the door first before you come and disturb somebody’s privacy out!!!!

Alleria: No wonder, she always being like that since our childhood above…

Sylvanas: aw… chill out Brother in law, me and Lina just want to visit you.

Anasterian: Me? Brother in law?

Sylvanas: Ah come on! Few second ago you’ve promise to marry my sister! Am not deaf…

Anasterian: how you know that?

Sylvanas: hehehe… my crimson eyes could saw through any thing, you know!

Alleria: Really? I don’t know that.

Lina: (giggling) hold down! You’ve been tricked! We just peaking and eavesed drop you. That’s all…

Anasterian: Damn it!! How dare you!

Sylvanas: wow wow…, come on mates! She’s my beloved sister, so I deserve to know who will be his husband.

Anasterian: so I need your permit?

Sylvanas: technically, yes!

Anasterian: And your decision?

Anasterian: you shall sister, I guarantee you.

Lina: okay Sylvanas. Our business here is done, so let’s out and let Anasterian get some rest.
Anasterian: Hey Sylvanas… wait, could you ask Furion to meet me? I want to report my observation…

Sylvanas: Sure mates…

Furion: Doral ana’diel? Anaria shola*

Anasterian: shorel’aran*, Shan’do. To the point, when I was scouting them, two of the Scourge’s general talked that the Scourge had made a new settlement and moving and locate the frozen throne on their base.

Furion: Moving the frozen throne? For what?

Anasterian: they goal are to destroy the Tree of world and claim the power of well of eternity to revive their own master Ner’zhul once again.

Furion: so what are the plans that will you suggest?
Take a while for thinking some plan, an he remember when the scourge general had talking about their master’s plan to gathering power to demolish the sentinels

Anasterian: Move faster!!! We have to preparing our army faster than they could be, and since we know that The frozen throne on their base, it will be depend on both side to destroy they own ancient first…

Furion: you got it, General I understand! I will prepare my warrior to combat! But it will take 2 week to preparing them.

Anasterian: Do it as fast as you could Furion, the scourge may launch a siege counter-attack immediately due their general has been killed first.


Furion: it shall be done, young General, no wonder the alliance could win the battle in the Northrend, they had a handful Strategic general on their armies. Once again I am on your debt

Anasterian: Don’t praise me Furion…, I just a elven ranger who want to take revenge upon the scourge and get retired after this all over.

Furion: Nah, you may need some rest right now, you deserve of it.

Alleria: Furion was right sweet heart… you need to recover your condition.







some of you may thought: "this guy crazy!! make an english story among people who using Bahasa indonesia as common language"
