Just over three weeks ago cn Xiang 'LongDD' Huang was confirmed to have replaced cn Xie 'DD' Bin as the fifth players of cn LGD.Cn, but on Saturday LGD decided to part ways with LongDD. They eventually found their replacement as the first official word came out today from the organization, as DD will be returning to active duty, having spent some time after his surgery as a shoutcaster for LGD.

As DD never actually left the LGD organization the team is likely to retain their invite for The International 2013 without need for sanctions, but have said they will accept Valves judgement on the matter.
LongDD is known for a short temper and a passionate personality, which has lead him to move around more so than most players. LGD.Cn was his third team in under a year, having attended the second International with cn DK, but being removed afterwards and joining cn TongFu where he spent just short of half a year. Over the course of his career in Dota LongDD has played for 13 teams, but it seems as if he has had enough for now, as he is looking to take some time off from professional play following his departure from LGD.Cn, possibly looking to stream and make videos instead.

Along with the addition of LongDD, LGD switched around their roles, making room for the diminutive support player to fit in with their style of play, especially as LGD previously had not been known for running junglers, which are a speciality of LongDD.

    Reason for being let go

According to a transcript of a conversation with a fan, the other players on LGD were not content with the level of mechanical skill that LongDD possessed, and felt that he was not good enough as a player because of it. LongDD denied greater conflict with the team, but was understandably disheartened and puzzled by the teams decision.

    DD returns to LGD.Cn

As stated, the replacement for LongDD will be the teams previous support player DD, who tried his hand at casting for a while after having been sidelined due to surgery. As DD has not technically left LGD.Cn at any point, no action is likely to be taken against the team regarding their direct invite for The International. Instead, we will see LGD compete with the same roster as they did last year.

DD is a highly unselfish support player, who stood out more so for his excellent synergy with mo Leong 'DDC' Fatmeng than for his individual play. He is a former member of cn Dream along with cn Zhang 'xiao8' Ning and also played for a time with cn TyLoo before joining LGD.

The team issued the following official statement on their facebook page:

Hello. Here is the official announcement regarding our team and LongDD. Both parties parted ways on a mutual agreement, nobody was hurt (as reported on some forums) and there was no verbal fights. We are really happy that LongDD represented us the recent weeks, and we wish him all the best in the future.

His replacement is none other than DD who fully recovered from his ear surgery. He will practice very hard with them in order to excel in the upcoming tournaments.

Last but not least, The International 3 invite. We are waiting for Valve's decision but no matter what they decide, we will respect it.

    Thanks for your support.

LGD.cn baru reform karena LongDD leave (dan DD sendiri baru selesai operasi, wajarlah kalah 2-0 )
VG1 sendiri kayaknya biasa aja IMO,masih masuk team tier2 asia kalo gw bilang, masih ga sebanding kalo sama team-team direct invite TI3 (kemaren aja baru kalah 3-2 sama MUFC di final netolic) =)

semoga LGD.cn cepet cepet back in shape, biar mulus perjalanan east qualifiernya

untuk masalah invite yang gantiin VG,tongfu........gw sendiri kurang tau, agak lupa sama performancenya tongfu di g-1 league kemaren

    tapi gw rasa cukup jago,mengingat kingJ,hao,banana =)

EG convincingly claimed the first place at the EIZO Cup and bagged €1250. PaiN placed second after Virtus.Pro withdrew from the finals.

The EIZO Cup has just ended with four teams remaining to begin day two of the tournament. Evil Geniuses were perfect in the EIZO Cup winning all four games today, and all four games yesterday to claim the February's Cup against PaiN.

Recap of the events today are as follows:

    Semi-final 1: paiN 0:2 VP

Virtus.Pro went into the game as the favourites. They claimed the first game convincingly with a farmed solo mid Warlock. Besides that, Gyrocopter on the safe lane managed to pick up a fast Black King Bar and the entire game started moving towards the Russians in mid game. PaiN's unconventional Morphling pick did not work out well.

In the second game, VP opted for a global gank strat with Nature's Prophet and a Wisp with a Dragon Knight as the hard carry. Bane Elemental also played a big role in surpressing paiN's Lifestealer ability as carry and VP secures the second game.

    Semi-final 2: EG 2:0 TL

The match between the two American teams, Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid was anything but easy to predict. In the first game, EG picked a rather strong team fight combination with a Tidehunter and an Enigma. Even though Steven 'Korok' Ashworth, who played the TA for Liquid, was able to snuck the last hit on Roshan and stole the Aegis, EG were able to overcome the carry potential of their regional rival’s lineup. TL's Lifestealer was successfully surpressed.

In the second game, EG picked up Lycanthrope and Nature's Prophet who both bought Necronomicon to split push. Team Liquid's Dark Seer fended off several assaults on their tier three towers but failed to sustain it. EG took game two and advanced to the grand final to face Virtus Pro.

Virtus Pro pulling out of the tournament

Virtus Pro informed EIZO Cup organizers that they were unable to make the schedule for the grand final before the grand final.

Virtus Pro has received the dates and schedule prior to the tournament.

Tournament admins disqualified VP and decided to give paiN another shot at proving themselves in the grand final against EG.

    Dennis 'HolyMaster' Schumacher

Virtus.pro received the invite to the EIZO CUP about two weeks ago and accepted. The date and times were known from the start. Two days before the start of the main tournament they approached us, because they were double booked. So we adjusted the schedule: The semifinals started an hour sooner, the grand final got delayed by an hour. We even had a long break on the stream, just for them. So right when we wanted to start the grand final, they informed us that they're unable to play. This is heavy missmanagment from VP, especially after we've shifted our plans for them. Therefore Virtus.pro was disqualified and paiN took their place in the grand final.

    Jacob 'Maelk' Toft-Andersen via Twitter

"Virtus Pro is pulling out of the EIZO final - no idea why - and we are playing PaiN from Brazil instead. Really wanted to play VP though! "

    Grand Final: EG 2:0 PaiN

To start off the finals, EG utlilized an aura stacking strat with Vengeful Spirit, Luna, and Beastmaster. EG rolled paiN over quickly in the mid game who were relying heavily on their free-farming Anti-Mage. AM was not able to get big enough in time as the barracks fell.

In the second game, EG once again relied on both Enigma and Tidehunter. EG shut down paiN's Brewmaster and Storm Spirit very early into the game with a roaming Tidehunter. Effective movements in the map allowed EG's Nature's Prophet to farm up an early Mekansm which led into an early Aegis for Weaver sealed the game for EG. EG takes home the first prize.

    Spoiler untuk Ranking :
    1st: EG €1,250
    2nd: paiN
hahaha walaupun pake tactic jaman dulu main aura bisa menang lawan pain. ngomong ngomong pain itu team brazil kan ya?
