Sebagai creator Eternity Calls, saya harus mengakui bahwa untuk beginners akan memang membingungkan. Apalagi kalo terbiasa dengan Dota, pasti gak terbiasa mengambil alih unit yang tidak hanya sekedar Hero. Untuk ini saya membuat guide khusus untuk Official strategy guide dan Tips.
Bila anda tidak mempunyai versi Eternity Calls paling baru, yaitu version 1.7a, maka anda akan mengalami kebingungan, membaca strategy guide ini.
( II ). Beginning Guide
Untuk memulai, bila anda adalah Player merah, yaitu Player sebagai server, anda harus memilih game mode yang sangat singkat. Game mode tersebut adalah, Player Sharing Enable/Disable, Killing Count Label Enable/Disable, dan Cinematic Introduction Enable/Disable. Saran saya untuk sementara ini, mode paling enak itu adalah Player Sharing dengan Kill Count Label enabled, dan Cinematic Introduction Disabled. Apabila anda sedang bermain full house atau dengan player yang memuat 5 atau lebih, saya sarankan untuk Player Sharing di Disable. Kenapa? Karena akan membingungkan para Online Playing Defender. Setelah game mode di pilih dengan singkat, semua Player akan mendapatkan user availability control dimana sebelum nya tidak didapatkan. Anda mempunyai satu hero selector, dipakailah dengan baek, karena hanya satu. Apabila anda bingung memilih hero yang mana, tingal left click setiap hero yang anda penasaran untuk mendisplay Info skill dan Attributes. Setelah anda memilih hero, camera anda akan dipindahkan ke tempat dimana Hero kamu diberikan. Untuk saat ini, sangat baik kalau anda mempelajarkan situasi sekitar hero anda karena sangat mementingkan bahwa di tempat ini, anda mempunyai barrack untuk mengrecruit unit-unit, dan npc-npc yang menjual item beserta npc special yang menjual Recipe Items (Seperti Dota). Anda akan sadar bahwa setiap Player akan mempunyai barrack yang berbeda karena setiap hero menentukan Ras Unit tersebut dimana saya akan jelaskan selanjutnya.
Shadow Shamman (Not Recommended)

- Healing Wave (Heals up to 7 units with Healing Chain power)
- Hex (Transforms an Enemy into a critter for 2-8 seconds)
- Serpent Ward (Summons a Deadly Attacking Poisonous Ward which deals up to 125 damage)

(IV) Micromanaging
Dengan informasi yang diberi diatas bagian ini, anda bisa mengikuti strategy yang paling penting di game Eternity Calls. Strategy ini adalah Micromanaging, yaitu kepentingan untuk mengkontrol unit2 satu per satu. Memang untuk anda yang terbiasa dengan Dota, sangat susah untuk mengkontrol setiap unit satu per satu. Tetapi harus dibiasakan ... Dengan informasi yang diberi di bagian Hero Guide, anda bisa membuat kombo 2 tertentu dimana anda bisa membuat strategy Micromanaging anda sendiri. Seperti Priestess of the Moon, hero tersebut lebih lari ke hero Support. Untuk itu anda perlu membikin unit2 yang damage nya lebih kuat, seperti Druid. Ditambah Huntress untuk mengsupport damage tersebut, mengapa huntress? Karena Huntress mempunyai skill Howl of Terror dimana akan mengurangi armor value musuh. Inilah strategy Micromanaging, sangat singkat tapi sangat berguna untuk memenangkan game Eternity Calls.
