The game was freaking awsome!!! The story, the raids, instances, the skill that each class needed... not the absurd face roll and OP some clases are now.
One of the things that has pissed me off the most, starting last expac, was the talent tree. That can't be called a talent tree anymore, it is just a selection of skills. Talent trees back in wrath or cata, those were things that made you really learn your class. Only from looking at someone's talents you could easily know if the guy was a good or experienced player that knew his class well, or someone that is just starting to play the class, or just a noob.
Things like that were an awesome part of the game. Each class needed to learn a lot of things, like macros, to change stances, to equip weapons in different stance, things that made you really use your class to the fullest of its potential and made less experienced players want to learn their characters more.
Now, that is not needed. Skill is no longer needed, just play over powered classes and win every time. That is the reason why this game have lost over 4 million subs, in my opinion. If Blizz could look back to Wrath of the Lich King, and Cata, and put in the little things again that gave classes diversity and required skill, I think it would save the game. Those that have been playing the game for more than 3 or 4 years will know what I'm talking about and they'll agree that those times are more fun than what we have now.
By making each class overly simplified and homogenized, Blizzard has lost most of their rank 1 players.
So Blizz, please, bring those things back, and and I guarantee that at least 2 million subs will return, because that's how people used to like the game.
