Rho Aias



This bronze shield covered with seven layers of oxhide is the one that blocked the javelin of the great hero Hector that was never blocked before. It penetrated 6 layers, but the seventh resisted. It was able to do the same against Lancer's Gae Bolg, Spear of Striking Death Flight, which also penetrated up to the sixth level of defence.

Afterward, its existence was sublimed into a Conceptual Weapon that was an absolute defense against any thrown weapon. It is Archer's strongest defense. It takes the appearance of an iridecent flower, with seven petals. This is a reference to the death of Aias, since it was said that the Hyacinth flower bloomed from his blood as he died.

Kanshou Bakuya



Kanshō and Bakuya (干将・莫耶, Kanshō and Bakuya) are the "married" twin swords that Archer favors during the fifth Holy Grail War. The black sword is Kanshou, the Yang, and the white sword is Bakuya, the Yin.

A pair of swords with a strong bond between each other, not only they attract each other but are said to return to their owner when lost. Their quality as swords is high due being made with the best materials and a human sacrifice, and they also serve as ceremonial tools for sorcery. When both are equipped, magic resistance and physical resistance improve.

It might just be Archer's taste, but words thought to be a charm against Demons are carved on the blades.

They were made by the famous craftsman Kanshou (Gān Jiàng) in the Spring and Autumn Period. It seems he was more crafting for the sake of crafting than for the idea behind the creation. Kanshou's wife, Bakuya (Mò Yé), gave her life to melt the metal and create the married swords that represent the Yin and Yang.

Caladbolg II



Calabolg II is a Noble Phantasm use by Archer through Tracing. It should be the demonic sword possessed by the hero of Ireland, Fergus mac Róich; but as the name suggest, it is a different weapon from Fergus's sword, and Archer has applied improvements particular to his usage of it as a Broken Phantasm.

It is a Noble Phantasm considered to be the natural enemy of Cú Chulainn, the great hero of Celtic myth. If the wielder of Caladbolg is Ulster-born, Cú Chulainn has a duty to be defeated once by this sword due to his geas.

The blade of the sword coils into a spiral that can penetrate any target, but it is not specified if this look is due to Archer's modifications for aerodynamic purposes or if the original sword of Fergus already had that aspect.

Hrunting



The demonic sword Hrunting, the Hound of the Red Plains (赤原猟犬, Sekigen Ryōken?), is a Noble Phantasm used as a Broken Phantasm by Archer in Fate/hollow ataraxia, during the 4-day loop reenactment of the Heaven's Feel 3.

It is a pitch black weapon, with a few small edges coiling around the thin core, spiralling around it and somewhat curving outward. It seems to be hard to pull out once it has struck.

Archer used it as an arrow to shoot at the broad bridge in the middle of Fuyuki city, standing from the top of the center building. The distance between these two places is approximately 4 kms, and the arrow was shot at Mach 13.9 (17,013.6 Km/h)

Its usage as a sword is unknown, but when shot like a bullet or as an arrow, it turns into a magical bullet envelopped in a red light, and it will keep tracking its target once it is shot as long as the shooter keeps aiming at it. However, it hasn't been verified if it could have done a 180° change of course to pursuit Saber when they passed each other.

Similarly, after Archer shot it while targeting Emiya Shirou, it is unsure if he would or not have been allowed to switch target to Saber when she simultaneously jumped from the bridge in an ambush attack. It might be an unconditional attribute of the weapon, or a choice from Archer, or a little of both.

Furthermore, when Saber was repelling it from the ground, it was taking around 30 seconds to charge it with prana. When Archer fully charged it (around 40 seconds?), it took one second to reach its target even with the strong wind that was swaying the handrail of the bridge.
